Even after having her face melted off after an illegal meth lab exploded, a Florida woman has been busted again for manufacturing the drug, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Sheriff's deputies arrived at a trailer on Monday and were shocked to find severely disfigured Heather Raybon there with another man, both surrounded by drug paraphernalia in the midst of a working meth lab, reported Fox10TV.com.

The 31-year-old had been permanently scarred when a drug den blew up in 2004 but even with her face left a distorted, melted mask she couldn't keep away from the addictive drug.

In the latest incident, narcotic detectives found materials and ingredients to cook up crystal meth, along with 13 grams of meth powder and 32 grams of meth oil. There was such a strong risk of explosion from the one-pot lab that police called the fire department to safely neutralize it.
Raybon and William Hindall, who was also at the trailer in Milton, Florida, were both arrested for production of methamphetamine, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of felony drug equipment and possession of listed chemicals to manufacture meth, and are being held on a $35,000 bond.
Police had originally turned up at the seedy location looking for fugitive Brian Mauldin, and there remains a warrant out for his arrest for the possession of listed chemicals to manufacture methamphetamine.

Raybon, who has a string of former drug offences and traffic violations on her record, has undergone numerous facial surgeries over the past seven years to rebuild her melted face.

You would think after having that happen she might have learned her lesson and/or gotten some help.

What else is she gonna do? Hiding away in a trailer making meth seems perfect for her.

That would be pretty fucked if the tax payers have to pay, but didn't Florida just pass a law that welfare recipients have to pass drug tests? If they're strict about that I can't imagine they would pay for this chick.

Agreed. There is no way I'd ever stop doing meth if that happened to my face. I'm not even particularly all that vain, I just would have to keep doing it until it took me out. I can't imagine the physical pain of having your face melt off and the emotional pain of having to walk around like that everyday. Fuck. And I don't want to get out of bed some mornings. Imma get up singing tomorrow.

Quitting meth on its own is incredibly difficult. It still blows me a way that most of the crowd I used to use with 6 years ago are still running and gunning, dead or in jail.

She could be an interesting storyline character for "Breaking Bad". Talk about paying for your mistakes, she was cute in her first mug shot.

A couple other cases I found on google image...

Healing: Selena Humphrey, 19, was burned when a lab exploded, spewing molten plastic into her face

Wired on methamphetamine and craving more, Ricky Dale Houchens set out one night last November to cook a fresh batch of the drug. He met some buddies in rural Scottsville, Ky., at a trailer that doubled as a crude lab. As the concoction simmered, Houchens, 27, noticed it was getting too hot. When he picked up the pitcher, the bottom gave way and the combustible mixture splashed onto a burner. The resulting blast engulfed Houchens in a ball of fire. "I felt my face just melting," he recalls. "The skin was running down my arm ... like lard." Eventually, he was transported to Vanderbilt University Burn Center in Nashville, where specialists treated him for severe burns on 40 percent of his body.

Burn victims like Houchens are increasingly popping up in hospitals across the country. In Tennessee, meth-lab seizures have skyrocketed, from 226 in 2000 to 942 in 2004, according to the Drug Enforcement Administration. When labs explode, they not only kill and maim the cooks; they wreak financial havoc on the facilities that treat them, since the vast majority of meth victims lack health insurance. In Houchens's case, his hospital charges totaled more than $553,000, only $110,000 of which was recovered from Kentucky Medicaid. As many as a third of Vanderbilt's burn cases at a given time in the past year have been meth-related. "If we continue to take on this large burden" of $5 million to $10 million per year in uncompensated care, says Dr. Jeffrey Guy, Vanderbilt's burn director, "I don't know if we will have a burn unit five or 10 years from now." Across the state line, the Mississippi Firefighters Memorial Burn Center suspended new admissions in May and may need to shut down permanently. Part of the reason: the financial strain from treating meth-lab burn patients.

Since many meth ingredients are flammable, one false move by a cook can yield disaster. When Selena Humphrey, 19, used to make the drug with her friends, "we were always on pins and needles," she says, as they would accidentally spill chemicals or start small fires. Eventually, an explosion sent her to Vanderbilt, where doctors had to chisel melted plastic?which had lined the walls of the lab?off her face.

The toxic substances make patients like Humphrey tougher to treat. A recently published study by the University of Louisville's burn center laid out the typical traits of meth-lab victims: deeper chemical injuries, greater resuscitation requirements, longer periods on a ventilator. Even worse, most of them offer dubious explanations for their injuries, says Dr. Michael Smock of St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis. That dishonesty complicates diagnosis and slows the response to things like eye injuries, which can cause severe damage if not treated quickly.

Arrests result of apparent West Side meth lab explosion

By John Lucas
Sunday, January 23, 2011

EVANSVILLE ? The person who was renting the West Side apartment where an apparent illicit methamphetamine lab caused a damaging fire Friday evening has been charged with dealing the illegal drug and lodged in the Vanderburgh County Jail.
A second person, who was burned severely when the lab apparently exploded, is in a Louisville, Ky., hospital. Evansville Police Sgt. Steve Evans said Saturday he did not know the condition of Michael Kingery, 32, who ran from the Orchardgate Apartment at Applewood Court, with his clothing on fire.
Authorities were notified of the fire shortly after 6 p.m., and Kingery was found a few minutes later by police on Claremont Avenue, about a half-mile from the apartment. Most of his clothing had been burned away, his hands and arms were severely burned and he was barefoot in the single-degree weather. When he was found, Kingery was standing beside the street screaming in pain.
Because of his medical condition, no charges have been filed yet against Kingery, Evans said.
The renter, Sassy Sunderman, also 32, allegedly was in the apartment at the time of the explosion and fire, Evans said. She fled to her parents' residence, he said. She met with police later and was arrested. Sunderman remained in jail Saturday night on $2,000 cash or $20,000 surety bond.
Evans said it is believed Kingery was in the bathroom of the apartment when the explosion occurred, and Sunderman, who was not injured, was in another room. She assisted Kingery in getting the bathroom door open, he said.
Evans said initial reports that three people had been involved were in error.
The fire caused heavy damage to the second floor apartment and forced the overnight evacuation of some of the units in the eight-unit complex.
