Her name is Erica Gill. She was 24, and my roommate, Brittany, found out through a myspace bulletin. We know she had partial cervical cancer, but we don't know if that's what killed her. I don't have much time to look now so I figured I'd post it here.

brittany's first instinct into her cause of death was an OD, but from her picture it looks like she was going through chemo & whatnot.
So sad. I am sorry for your loss. She was too young to be going through this. I looked for info but couldn't find anything.
Is your friend the Britny that you can see off Erica's myspace? I had a look but I will try properly tomorrow.

No it's not. She said last night that she hadn't seen Erica in a while and looked her up on myspace after she had read the bulletin. According to the bulletin, Erica was found dead in her house, and the cause of death was pending. You would think that if her cancer was still pretty bad, then the cause of death would be a little more obvious.
But maybe not.
I haven't had time to really look at this, but I just read a comment from one of her (ex) friends:

Her name was Erica Gill. She was 24. She was found dead in her house yesterday. My roommate, who went to high school with her in Ripley, Ohio, found out through a myspace bulletin while she was at work yesterday. When Brittany first heard of Erica's death, her immediate thought was that she had either ODed or killed herself.
I don't think it's bullshit because:
Why would someone send around a bulletin saying that a former classmate was dead if it wasn't true?
I guess we've seen weirder.

Her blog was written January 2006 and talked about how she had just been diagnosed with partial cervical cancer, and had to have a hysterectomy at age 23. It also mentioned that everyone she has known/loved has died from cancer.

Yeah, I think the chemo took care of her hair. She had hair in the other pictures, but they're gone now that her myspace was erased. And I think that's a chin piercing, as opposed to a patch of hair.
