I really liked Sin City, both the movie and comic. This is based on the second volume, which is arguably the best one.
I also liked Sin City, which was surprising since I typically don't like that "style".

Great Gatsby had some dumb directing decisions because Baz Lurman is a 12 year old girl, but over all I thought it was a pretty good adaptation of a difficult project.

They shouldn't see his movies. His stories are never supposed to be historically accurate. They're alternate universes.

I still want to see it. I don't mind twists and Leo is usually spot on in his roles.
I was dead set against seeing Gatsby until I heard it was directed by Luhrman. I am not a huge fan of the story (English majors pass out here) but Luhrman makes it interesting. I didnt like Romeo and Juliet (Luhrman fans pass out here) but I liked Moulin Rouge and Strictly Ballroom so I am in now.
Also psyched about Sin City 2, love the visuals they did in the first one-but I was a comic geek in the day. I guess I still am, I just dont buy them anymore.

The visuals of Gatsby were beautiful! It is an interpretation.... I like it, didn't love it.
Worth the ticket price, for sure
I taught English and I taught Gatsby..... People need to get over themselves!
Miss Jean Louise, stand up. Your father's passin'.
