Haha. The happening could not have sucked more. Except for the part when they were all jumping off of the construction site. But that was in the first five minutes. Suck!

I just bought the Curious Case of Bejamin Button and Valkyrie on DVD. I watched the first 45 mins of Benjamin Button and if nothing else it was at least entertaining. When he's a 7 year old "Old man" he reminds me of a cool pet you want to own

Really? Too bad. I thought it looked pretty cute. Did your daughter like it?
[/quote]She liked it, but she likes every movie we see. Except "Marley and Me." "Bedtime Stories" is really cute and fun.

I recommend making plans to do something fun after seeing "Revolutionary Road" because that movie is so f-ing depressing.

So, has anybody else seen "Milk"?

I was oddly disappointed. I didn't really like it, although I can't quite put my finger on why.

I just watched a movie called "My Blueberry Nights" which I really liked. The screenplay was co-written by Lawrence Block who's a writer a like a lot. Jude Law, Norah Jones and Natalie Portman are in it, but I think the best acting in the movie was done by David Strathairn.

Benjamin button. Did not know going into it that it was going to be a remake of forrest gump. So i was like "wtf? Captain dan?" don't get me wrond. I loved gump. And benjamin was good and all, but does not deserve an oscar for pure lack of originality. Although, for the first time ever i like brad pitt. Definitely worth seeing.

Lol hostel. I think we talked about it here. Do a search. It's worth watching for the comedic value.

The movie "all about steve" looks like it could possibly be the worst movie ever. Someone needs to put Sandra Bullock out of her misery.

Re: just movie talk...

I watched Burn After Reading this week, but I didn't really go into it with high hopes.

The commercial featured Grounds For Divorce by Elbow, and I thought that would probably be the high point.
It actually wasn't too bad though.

George Clooney's dildo chair was amazing, and I'm not even a big Brad Pitt fan, but I found myself feeling for his character.

Another movie I saw recently and really liked was Let The Right One In. It's in Swedish, but if you don't mind subtitles and are into foreign film, it's a pretty good choice.

I LOVED "Burn After Reading."

In the past few days I have watched the following:

"Elizabethtown." Batshit crazy girl gets hot guy. Want.
"Lost in Translation." I'd seen parts of it but never the whole thing.
"In Bruges." AWESOME.
"Mulholland Drive." Someone please explain this movie to me because I'm going insane trying to figure it out.
