Thanks Chaunce. I'll start it after I finish catching up on Degrassi.
Just the trailer to wet your appetite. :-D

I love Bottlerocket but it might be too quirky for Nancy Drew.
You slept with mike so he would ban me. change your sig..the pretentious look how hipster face is so old ooh you like guys with glasses..ooooh
Alright almost time for bed.... I just finished watching The Strangers. THUMBS DOWN. The first 20 minutes were good than it was just the same old scary movie shit. I also watched Smart People, which gave me the impression I must not be too smart, because I did NOT find it to be "hilarious" :-P I had a few chuckles here and there, but that was it.
So, has anyone seen a FANFUCKINGTASTIC movie lately?

I watched The Fall last night. The plot is fairly simplistic but the visuals are amazing, and any fan of photography and cinematography is doing themselves a disservice by not seeing it.

Burn After Reading was fanfuckingtastic in my opinion.
My friend was on the floor laughing at a couple parts, and I don't think I went five minutes without a chuckle at least.

Anytime you're willing to see a movie twice in theaters, you know it's good. Ever seen raising Arizona by them. That movie still gets me every single time. I own the damn movie, yet every time its on tv, I still end up watching![]()

Sadly, I haven't really watched a lot of the Coen brothers stuff, but my friend Rhoda has commandeered a weekend, and several of their movies and apparently that is what I will be doing soon. I'm really excited. ![]()

they are either insanely funny, or insanely serious ala no country for old men. You will love Raising Arizona, It's fucking hilarious. It's about a Cop and a Convict who get married but can't have kids, so the steal one.
That is a weekend party I would have loved to be a part of. Enjoy

Haha. I had one of those once. Haven't seen him in like 4 or 5 years because of the army. Instead we just myspace eachother and talk and Critique what we have seen lately. still fun, but not the same

That sucks! She's awesome. We like all different kinds of movies, so sometimes we'll go to the indie theatre. She also got us the tickets to the DC premiere of the Dark Knight. And she's quiet during the movies but we can actually discuss for hours afterwards. We closed down Indebleu the other night drinking, and talking about Old Hollywood movies. It was fantastic.

Thats fucking awesome. especially someone who's quiet during the movie
The last time I was home, the local Indie theater was shut down, I was really bummed. I saw alot of shit in that place growing up. Pulp fiction, boogie nights, fargo etc...
It really is great when you can connect with someone on those levels. Having fun, drinking, arguing for hours about simple things.

Hmmm, we initially were talking about Liz Taylor, so her movies, then Richard Burton's, then we started talking about Gone With the Wind, then ended with Tennessee Williams' movies. Nothing groundbreaking at all, but it was a lot of fun.

ahh. Streetcar with brando is a classic, and I loved Newman in COAHTR
It does suck about the theater. Now all I have is the Main St. Jukebox, where I can at least still buy actual records, and buy and sell cd's. if that goes it's over.
Is nothing sacred anymore?

Which one? the one where he's the creepy neighbor cop? or the one with Isaac hayes and Bernie mac?

Apparently not so much. You're from Philly right? I was there a couple months ago, and we were walking through a neighborhood where the fence/walls were mosaics of glass and lots of other things, and there was an old abandoned theatre there that looked so gorgeous. I can't remember what it was called.
