I fell asleep halfway through last night but after the first crash how did the cops not realize he had the woman trapped in the passenger seat? They only talked about the 4 girls in the head on crash. I'm confused.

[/quote]Grindhouse is supposed to be a throwback to low budget, campy movies of the 70s. Sometimes they didn't make sense.
You really need to watch it as a whole. Planet Terror then Death Proof.
