I loved The Departed...the end made me cheer a little, I must admit.

I LOOOOOOVED THE DEPARTED! I think that's probably one of the best movies i've ever seen.

See it now, that way in a couple months whe Hostel 2 is released you'll have something to see.

Hey anyone see Borat yet?
just watched Prestige on DVD which stars the ever delicious Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman. Pretty interesting. I thought it was holier than swiss cheese but it was pretty captivating. Theatre wise today we took the kids to see Bridge To Taribithia which I remembered reading as a kid half way through the movie. Well that movie had me crying. Had I been alone instead of in a theatre of people I would have been bawling. I cried for like half an hour for real. Very good.
Is anyone into older horror flicks? If so, see 2000 Maniacs. Really entertaining!! Side note--the band, 10000 maniacs named themselves after ths movie, but they forgot the right # for the title.

Well it was nominated for best picture.
IMO it should have been nominated for zzzzzzzzzzz pandering for the sake of pandering.
Just saw Zodiac and it was a very well acted and entertaining film. The best film I've seen recently has been Pans Labyrinth(absolutely loved this film) Check it out if you haven't seen it.
I keep hearing good things about Pans Labyrinth.
I'll have to see it.
