SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police say a South Salt Lake man was arrested on Saturday after a door-to-door saleswoman alleged that he raped her.
According to a probable cause statement, the 18-year-old woman was going door-to-door selling knives.
When she approached the home of Philip Doe, who offered her a champagne glass with vodka in it, which she drank.
Police say when the woman began to feel drunk, Doe began to rip her clothes off and dragged her by the feet into a bedroom where she claims he raped her.
According to the report, during the incident, the woman told Doe to stop and that she would rather die than be raped.
Philip Doe was arrested and booked on suspicion of rape and unlawful supplying of alcohol a minor charges.
