    Ignoring

    How about an "Ignore" feature.  If you ignore a particularly annoying member (excusesexcuses would have been a good example), their posts don't show up in your view of the thread.

    I've only seen this feature on one other bulletin board.

    I dont think its a good idea, personally. It would cause too much chaos and I dont really think you'd use it like you think you would. If anything, just have an option of blocking certain people from sending you PMs. Cause think about it....you have so and so blocked....you're reading a thread, and all of their posts aren't there....it wouldn't make sense.. so then you'd either have to unblock them, or annoy other people by asking what the blocked person said. chaos.

    Is it such a problem to just scroll past what whoever you want to ignore says?
