    I have the 4 and mine is doing the same thing. alternating between 22-25...oh now it said 90, 83 lol i dunno

    ideally, the number should read around 30. it's your frames per second (that is why it keeps changing).

    i'm working on some animation stuff for a game and want to know what frame rate all your phones are getting.

    It varies from 22 to 100. It mostly goes 22 90 37 100. It varies.

    hrm. looks like i'll have to put something in there to average the numbers. but if it stays above 22, that's fine enough.

    I was getting a lot of 18-25s. But then again, I have an older phone.

    i used my ipod touch and was getting 4-5.

    i'm using the html5 canvas to do the animation. i might make a demo with css3 animations. see if those run faster on that device.

    10 is pretty crappy. my goal is to get it to 30.

    Ok these results were very inconclusive.

    If you guys could instead, go here: http://jsperf.com/drawimage-vs-canvaspattern/5 and click the "Run Tests" button and wait until the tests are done.

    It should take about 15 seconds.

    (no need to paste anything, it'll auto-save the results).
