Giovanni Ramirez -- who was arrested Sunday for allegedly beating Bryan Stow so badly he suffered brain damage -- claims he was at home with the girl and, as we previously reported, has 3 alibi witnesses to prove it ... so says his lawyer, Chip Matthews.

The 3 alibi witnesses are his ex-girlfriend, who left Ramirez at the apartment to go to the game, along with 2 friends. Interestingly, the ex-girlfriend is a suspect in the case -- cops believe she may have been the getaway driver.

Matthews tells TMZ ... there are several pictures of the group at Dodger Stadium and Ramirez is not in any of the photos.

And, a source familiar with the case tells TMZ, Ramirez had a highly-visible tattoo removed from his neck after the incident, and cops believe it shows a guilty state of mind so he couldn't be ID'd. But Ramirez says he removed the tattoo of his ex-girlfriend's lips because his new girlfriend didn't like it.

Attorney Matthews adds ... Ramirez is covered in tattoos so removing one wouldn't make a difference.

So all they have is a guy that removed a tattoo, and possibly a probation officer who may or may not be right.

I don't know man. Is that enough to hold the guy? Oh they aren't even holding him on these chargers but on a parole violation. I don't know, i am going to laugh if they jumped the gun and got the wrong bald headed mexican with facial hair that looks like every other bald headed mexican with facial hair.

Anyone else notice the emphasis on the tattoos all of a sudden? I don't remember hearing anything about a neck tattoo. I mean the composites make no mention of it and you would think that would be one of the things they would have really focused on because that would at least narrow it down.

even in New Jersey there is a shortage of ob/gyns because of the extreme high cost of required malpractice insurance in NJ.

Most insurance policies are expensive because so many fraudulant claims are brought forth and battled out in court.

My own family member gave birth to a child with cerebral palsey. she won almost 7 million dollars for her daughter - who i love and when isee all the things that she needs, im happy she has them... HOWEVER, my family member was a boozing, marijuana and cigerette smoking pregnant woman who went into premature labor at 23 weeks. in my eyes, she brought that situation upon herself!! but because it was found that the baby did not start breathing for "x" amount of time, she was awarded millions for her care. i dont know how that worked, but it did.
The fuck? My coworker was just telling me how the hospital almost killed one of his twins- 100% hospital's fault- then sent him a bill for the thousands of dollars it cost to save her. He fought and won, so he doesn't have to pay any of those bills, but he didn't get anything extra. AND HE TOTALLY DESERVED TO.

On that note, I don't think there is an adequate facepalm pic for suing the stadium.

I dunno, I happen to think that a visible presence of security guards actually prevents crimes from happening. Maybe if security was better, more guards, more lighting, this wouldn't have even happened. Maybe.

Those are some pretty intense neck tattoos. I feel like I remember that being a description in the early parts of the incident.

So they are doing a line-up now..

eta: Guess the are 'satisfied', whatever that means..

The LAPD said it is "satisified" after placing the suspect in the beating of Giants fan Bryan Stow in a lineup for potential witnesses.
The suspect, Giovanni Ramirez, was arrested Sunday.
On Tuesday, prosecutors met with Los Angeles police detectives to review the case and determined that more investigating needs to be done before charges can be filed.
"Following the rules and guidelines established for the procedure, the department is satisfied with the results," the department said in a statement after the lineup Wednesday night. "At the appropriate time detectives will present a case to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office. Ramirez remains in custody on a parole hold by the California Department of Corrections."
Typically, suspects must be charged within 48 hours of an arrest, but in this case Ramirez, 31, is in custody on an alleged parole violation. Ramirez was arrested in connection with the beating of Stow at Dodger Stadium after the team's season opener.
Police said Ramirez was staying at a different apartment than the one he had registered with parole officials, a potential violation of the terms of his release.
The sources, who requested anonymity because the investigation is ongoing, said the parole hold has given investigators flexibility to conduct more work before formally presenting the case to the district attorney's office. They stressed that the decision to conduct additional investigation was not a reflection on the strength or weakness of the evidence against Ramirez and said such a move is routine when suspects remain behind bars on unrelated matters.
They declined to specify what additional investigation needed to be done, saying they wanted to avoid jeopardizing the case.
A lawyer representing Ramirez's 10-year-old daughter said Wednesday that at least eight people -- including the daughter -- could corroborate his alibi that he was at an East Hollywood apartment the entire day.

Next thing you know all these lawsuits are going to produce a world where you'll have to watch sporting events from your home.

Well, in this case, I don't really think the guy was being unreasonable by not expecting to be bludgeoned into a potentially irreversible coma because he was wearing a Giants shirt. And the security must have really failed.

That was actually what I was thinking about the tattoos.. A lot of people in LA have tattoos, a fair amount of those who do have them on their neck. I have seen this dude like 100 times in my life and I am pretty sure none of them were this guy. There has to be more evidence to hold him for this.

I mean, I slighlty remember the mention of a neck tattoo, but they did not say a full neck piece. That shit is pretty hard to cover just one little tattoo also.. The whole neck doesn't look like the fresh cover up. I don't know, if homegirl was at the game and he was not, there are pics of everyone there.. Can't we somehow put two and two? He could have been not photographed, but by admission she is saying she was there. Which to me opens the door to see the pics and question the other individuals in the pics.

This is going to be hard because I bet a million bucks that guy runs in a gang and whomever ratted him is scared shitless. They're going to have a hard time finding witnesses.

Uhoh, he might have passed the polygraph.

Suspect in Giants fan beating completes polygraphs

Police and attorneys are staying mum about the results of two polygraph tests taken by the man accused in the brutal attack on a San Francisco Giants fan at Dodger Stadium, as the suspect remained in custody on an alleged violation of his parole terms.

The defense team for Giovanni Ramirez administered a polygraph Tuesday night at the Men's Central Jail and police carried out their own test Wednesday. Although attorneys said they couldn't discuss results of the tests, polygraph expert Jack Trimarco, who tested Ramirez for the defense, hinted that the suspect had passed.

"If he had failed the test, there wouldn't have been an LAPD polygraph test today," Trimarco said.

Earlier Wednesday, a law enforcement official who has close knowledge of the probe into the March 31 beating of Bryan Stow told the Associated Press that police in Henderson, Nev., are looking at Ramirez as a possible suspect in a January attempted murder outside Las Vegas. The official requested anonymity because the beating investigation is ongoing.

Henderson police spokesman Keith Paul said there were no open warrants or charges filed against Ramirez in the city about 15 miles southeast of Las Vegas.

KCBS-TV first reported the connection to a Nevada probe.

Ramirez, 31, was arrested May 22 after an intensive investigation into the beating outside Dodger Stadium, but he has not been charged in the case. Stow was attacked by two men as he left the stadium, suffering grievous injuries. The 42-year-old paramedic remains in critical but stable condition under heavy sedation to prevent seizures caused by traumatic brain injury.

Court records say Ramirez has a violent criminal past that includes the 1999 attempted robbery of an elderly woman. In 2005, he was convicted of possession of a firearm by a felon.

Jose Romero, one of Ramirez's attorneys, said he could not confirm if there was a case against his client in Nevada but said he had investigators in Henderson looking into the story.

If Ramirez is indeed a suspect in Nevada, "it has nothing to do with the case at hand," Romero said. "We have never stated my client is an angel. We know he has a checkered past."

Romero said the Los Angeles Police Department's theory that Ramirez led the attack against Stow is riddled with problems, the most significant being that Ramirez was never even at Dodger Stadium the day of the attack.

Defense lawyers had given investigators several sworn statements from Ramirez's family members and other people attesting to seeing him elsewhere in Los Angeles when the beating took place.

LAPD Detective Jose Carrillo said that investigators also had spoken to some of those family members and that they had given conflicting statements.

"I am not worried about anything," Carrillo said when asked if he was confident the case would proceed.

Romero said cellphone triangulation records would further support Ramirez's claim he was not at the stadium, and he said he had statements from local businessmen who say they saw Ramirez elsewhere the day of the attack.

Police are still seeking another man who took part in the assault and a woman who was spotted driving the two attackers away afterward.

Bryan is tracking with his eyes!
The doctors aren't sure if that is his brain reacting to voice and movement or if he does see us. We like to think he sees us, but if he doesn't its good to know that his brain has reactions. He should be off the fourth seizure medication today, then early next week they will start reducing another.
Yesterday was an emotional day. As we were in Bryan's room, we looked out the window to see 4 fire engines, rows of firefighters and police units. Sadly, San Francisco Fire lost one of their own, and another is in a room by Bryan in critical condition.
We ask that you all please say a prayer for the firefighters and their families... we will be praying right alongside you.
Please send your love to SFFD at: Prayers for San Francisco Fire Department on Facebook
