she probably only became anti-vax when it got popular, despite vaccinating her other children and them living healthy, normal lives.

A Seattle couple returned to their apartment late on Wednesday night to find the home completely trashed.
Lotion had been smeared on their doorknobs, a can of paint had been poured in the toilet, the junk mail ripped open, and the soles of 20 pairs of shoes removed.
They called the police, who came to investigate, but nothing had been stolen, leading them to wonder whether something supernatural had occurred.
However it wasn't until after the cops - who were equally as baffled - had left after 45 minutes that Brian and Bridget O'Neill made the truly distressing discovery.
'We didn’t feel threatened, but we were somewhat disturbed,' Brian, 38, told Vocativ.
'It was a really weird experience.'
Electronics from all over the University District condo had been piled on the bed.
The police had found the purse of a 27-year-old woman, and the Bridget, 32, found a woman's shoes.
As the pair began to clean up the mess, Brian moved the bed slightly to pick up a bracelet on the floor.
He then heard something underneath the mattress.
'It was a noise coming from something alive,' he said.
'It sounded like a dying possum or raccoon.
'I had only heard wounded animals make that kind of noise before.'
When the noise got louder, becoming a scratching sound, the couple left the apartment and called the police again.
Officers went inside and came out minutes later.
They were escorting a 'lanky, wild-eyed woman', Vocativ reported.
The woman had been under the bed - which stands only about a foot from the ground - for at least two hours.
'When I saw that it was a woman, my reality suddenly kind of shifted,' Brian said.
'My wife pretty much collapsed on the stairwell.'
The woman, who authorities did not identify, told cops that she had been on a 'meth rampage' for several days, according to the police report.
Brian O’Neill says she stood about 5-foot-7 and weighed maybe 90 pounds.
'I thought it was one of the skinniest people I have ever seen,' he said.
After the woman was arrested, the O'Neill's found a hypodermic in their bedsheets and locks of the woman's around the house.
Under the bed was a knife, which she had used to try and deconstruct the box springs.
'Honestly, I feel kind of bad for her,' Bridget said.
'This woman was so tiny and not together, it’s hard to be mad.
'If you describe yourself as being on a meth rampage, you’re probably in bad shape. I feel like regular old meth is bad enough.'

Stuff found under the bed
I would not feel sorry for someone who broke into my house and created a huge mess. Especially if they were on drugs they did willingly. If you want to go on a "meth rampage" that's fine, just destroy your own shit next time.

A subsequent mugshot showed that Frolander had been badly beaten around the face, leaving him with swollen lips and eyes, bruising and lacerations.
When the 911 responder asked the father if any weapons were involved, he said: 'My foot and my fist'.
'He is nice and knocked out on the floor for you, I dragged him into the living room,' the father said. 'Send an ambulance. He is going to need one.'
The dispatcher asked: 'Is he still unconscious?' to which the father responds: 'Yes... I hit hard, sir.'
He said that Frolander was a 'damn lucky boy that I love my God'.
The father added: 'He stood up and his pants were around his ankles and nothing else needed to be said. I did whatever I got a right to do except I didn’t kill him.'
The father had left his home around 1am to pick up some food and when he returned, heard a strange noise coming from the bedroom, police said.
He pushed open the door and allegedly found Frolander with his pants down performing a sex act on the child.

Uggh. Poor kid. Poor dad.

The chief said the young boy was intimidated and told by Frolander that terrible things would happen if he revealed the abuse. The boy told investigators he had been playing video games with friends but when they left, Frolander took him to a back room and pulled down his pants. He also said Frolander had been abusing him for three years.
Daytona Beach police chief Michael Chitwood told MailOnline today that Frolander had a close family connection to the alleged victim.
I just couldn't watch the video. The pictures were enough for me. I am scared to death of snakes. ewww

Eight families in San Clemente have been targeted in a disturbing pattern under investigation by authorities: porcelain dolls have been left at their homes resembling young girls who live there.

Some of the girls, all about 10 years old, attend the same elementary school, Orange County Sheriff?s Department Lt. Jeff Hallock said.

?Families in each of the homes where porcelain dolls were left voiced concern that the dolls resembled their daughters,? the Sheriff?s Department stated in a news release.
Up to 11 dolls were left in front of the girls? homes, Hallock said. He initially said four dolls had been placed in front of homes, then revised that figure to eight and then 11.
The families all live in the same residential development, known as Talega.
The dolls, first reported on Tuesday, were taken into evidence and investigators were trying to determine what prompted someone to leave them. They weren?t being considered a crime, Hallock said.
?Is it a prank? Is there some specific motivation?? Hallock said. ?Obviously, there?s an indication by some the parents that the dolls resemble their daughters. We?re talking about children here.
?Anything that has the potential to involve children causes us some concern.?
The dolls were being examined for clues as to their origin or who left them.
?Investigators are working with community members and the impacted families in an attempt to locate any possible connection between the homes where dolls were left,? the Sheriff?s Department news release stated.
Photos provided by Hallock showed two of the dolls ? one in a blue dress and one in a pink dress. The latter doll was accompanied by a bunny wearing a pink bow and small white bunny slippers.

After the case gained attention on Thursday, the mother of a 5-year-old girl who lives in Talega told KTLA that the family had discovered wooden toys at the family?s front door two weeks ago.
The toys appeared to be figurines of three girls with interchangeable clothing. The mother, who did not want to be identified, contacted authorities on Thursday after becoming concerned about the dolls placed elsewhere in the community.

SAN CLEMENTE, Calif. (KABC) -- Orange County sheriff's deputies identified Thursday the woman who anonymously left porcelain dolls on the doorsteps of at least eight homes in San Clemente that resembled the daughters of the families who live in the home.
The dolls were meant to be an act of "goodwill" and intended as a kind gesture, sheriff's deputies reported.
The dolls were left in the Talega community in San Clemente over the past week. Sheriff's investigators collected the dolls as evidence and worked with the families to find a connection between the homes.
Investigators discovered that a woman who lived in the community attended church with many of the families. The woman admitted to deputies that she had placed the porcelain dolls.
No further investigation was expected.
Bodies in Mortuary Were Melting, Mummified: Warrant
Disturbing new details emerged Wednesday on the conditions of eight decaying bodies found in a Fort Worth funeral home with the release of arrest warrant affidavits for two of the mortuary's managers.
Police who went to the Johnson Family Mortuary July 15, weeks after the landlord had evicted the business owners, found a gruesome scene, warrants showed.
Officers found evidence of insect infestation, as well as fly pupa on or near the bodies, according to those documents. One corpse was mummified in a casket, while another that appeared mummified was wrapped only in a sheet and left on a coffee table.
Officials have released disturbing details about the conditions of eight decaying bodies found inside a Fort Worth funeral home earlier this month.
Eight Bodies Found Unattended in Fort Worth Funeral Home
Two more of the decaying corpses were of children, one skeletonized while another was melted to a container.
More corpses were found on gurneys, with bodily fluids draining onto the floor and into buckets placed underneath. A shop vacuum found nearby had apparently been used to try to remove some of the fluids.*Other corpses were found in a garage area, where there was prevalent evidence of insect infestation.*(Read the arrest warrant affidavit here.)
The warrants said that only one of the eight corpses found appeared to have been cared for properly and was not severely decomposed. That body was from a recent funeral and was being prepared to be shipped to Kenya.
Johnson Family Mortuary Manager Faces Abuse of a Corpse Charges
The mortuary owners, 35-year-old Rachel Johnson and her husband, 39-year-old Dondre A.*Johnson were both charged with seven counts of abuse of a corpse.* Rachel was arrested July 18, while Dondre surrendered to police at about 2 a.m. July 19.* Both were released after paying $10,500 bond each, or $1,500 for each count.
Investigators said they intentionally or knowingly treated seven corpses "in a seriously offensive manner, namely by retaining custody of and storing the human corpse in an unrefrigerated building instead of delivering the said human corpse for proper burial or cremation."
Co-Owner of Troubled Mortuary Out on Bond
The seven corpses officials say were abused were identified as the following people:
Baby Girl Booker — DOB April 21, 2012 — DOD April 21, 2012
Karen Pearl Jones — DOB Nov. 8, 1958 — DOD March 25, 2014
Helen Jones — DOB Oct. 12, 1943 — DOD April 9, 2014
Boy Desiree Williams — DOB Unknown — DOD May 1, 2014
Deborah Whitney — DOB*Unknown — DOD May 11, 2014
Victoria Vasquez — DOB — Aug. 25, 1961 — DOD June 9, 2014
Patricia Baptiste — DOB*Unknown — DOD June 30, 2014
During a discussion with police July 15 outside of the mortuary, Dondre Johnson is quoted in the affidavit as saying he and his wife owned the funeral home but that she was in charge.
He added that the above conditions were not unusual, saying that bodies belong in a funeral home and that the bodies hadn't been there longer than four months. He told police he was not licensed by any state agency and that he merely owns the funeral home.
About an hour after talking with Dondre Johnson, police spoke with his wife Rachel. She told them that she holds a license through the state funeral commission and that she was in charge of the administrative functions of the business.
She told police she had been absent from the business due to recently giving birth but had been at the mortuary only a few days before. She admitted to police that she smelled a stench, but said she was unaware there were bodies inside the funeral home.
Rachel is quoted in the affidavit saying her husband is more about the "pomp and circumstance" and the "show" associated with conducting memorial services and that he was not very good at keeping up with the necessary administrative paperwork needed to properly bury and cremate corpses.
Abuse of a corpse, a Class A misdemeanor, is punishable by up to a year in jail and a fine of up to $4,000 per count.
Family Plans Lawsuit After Grandmother Not Cremated
The pain runs deep for Maria Vasquez and her daughter, Elizabeth. Maria's mother, Victoria Vasquez, was never actually cremated, even though she passed away more than a month ago.
Police said her body was one of the seven left decomposing at the mortuary.
"To find out that these people were intentionally scamming us and lying to us [hurts]," said Elizabeth Vasquez.
Elizabeth's grandmother was finally cremated Wednesday morning through the generosity of another funeral home.
"This big sigh of relief came out," said Vasquez. "Just knowing for a matter of fact my grandmother's wish [to be cremated] is coming through, and I'm going to get my grandmother back [in the form of ashes]."
The Vasquez family said they are currently looking for an attorney, because they plan to file a lawsuit against the Johnson family.

wow. so they were evicted from the funeral home and just decided to leave the bodies there? did they think no one would notice? especially since it seems like they were billing for services that they weren't providing.
or maybe the wife was telling the truth about her husband being a fuck-up. cremation is the cheapest and easiest way to get rid of a body. why wouldn't they have just done that? i can see maybe reusing caskets, but you still have to get rid of the corpse at some point.
I briefly worked at a funeral home when I was in high school. There were a dozen or so cremated remains in the closet that the families/friends never pecked up. It made me sad seeing them there on the shelf. I asked the owner and there were no laws in place with what he could do with them. I know at least one was a decade old.
That's seriously sad
Here in Los Angeles they cremate thousands of unclaimed bodies per year from the Coroner's office. They bury them in a mass grave down the street from where I used to live once per year. I haven't had a chance to go to the service yet, but I plan to next time. From what I hear, they have a multi denomination ceremony which is beautiful.
Man claims penis mistakenly amputated
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - An Alabama man who went to the hospital for a routine circumcision says doctors mistakenly amputated his penis.
Johnny Lee Banks Jr. of Birmingham and his wife, Zelda Banks, filed the lawsuit Tuesday. They're suing the hospital, doctors and others for medical malpractice.
The lawsuit says Banks went to Princeton Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham last month for a circumcision. The suit alleges the man's penis was gone when he awoke.
The suit says that the mistaken amputation has caused the man extreme pain, and that his wife also is suffering.
The suit names the hospital, a urology group, a medical clinic and two doctors as defendants. It's seeking an unspecified dollar amount.
A hospital spokeswoman says the claims lack merit.
Others defendants didn't return messages seeking comment.

Believe it or not, this funeral home was going to be the subject of a new reality show. And their claim that no bodies had been sitting around longer than 4 months is complete bullshit if they've got a baby in their building who passed away in 2012. . This is a level of asshole I can't even begin to comprehend. http://www.star-telegram.com/2014/07...-mortuary.html
Don't like what I have to say? I respect that. Go fuck yourself.
