Nope, can't go back to bed.  I have to take my son to remedial math class (did I tell you about that?), then watercolor class, then I'm making enchiladas with my neighbor, then I have library duty, then swimming, then water polo.  I won't be done until 9:00 tonight.  Waah!

Good morning, ladies, and happy Friday!  Tonight I'm going to some fundraiser thing with my husband (his company sponsored a table).  It involves a symphony, a free, fancy dinner, and a silent auction at a beautiful hotel in Napa.  I don't remember all the details; my ears pricked up when I heard 'free dinner.'  My kids will have dinner at the neighbors'.  Anyway, I don't know when I'll get home, but I'll log on and see if anyone's here.

The only long gown I own is my Chinese wedding dress, which I am currently too fat to fit into.  I'll have to rifle through my closet to find something appropriate.

Last night, I chaperoned at cotilion, the seventh-grade-learn-to-dance thing my son goes to.  The kids looked fabulous!  They learned the cha-cha and the foxtrot.  It was a lot of fun.

That is great.  Is the Cotillion a one time thing, like a dance?  Or is the class called "cotillion"?
I know here in the South a cotillion is like a coming out party for the young girls.

Maybe I'll wear my Amish dress.

The class is called Junior Cotilion.  It's a brand name.  The class goes for several months.  The kids learn to dance, party etiquette, stuff like that.

I have another month but, I had to take my car to get serviced this morning so I figured I would take a three day weekend. Now I have no idea what to do with myself.
