Please download, install and run Ad-Aware SE Personal edition from here.... http://www.lavasoftusa.com/
I downloaded it when it first started happening- I run that and OfficeScan every day. It picks up the malware and deletes but it doesn't seem to protect the computer from being infected again. :-(
I have AdAware and just ran it again. Still happening - worse than usual now.
:2abused:
Maybe try to run Ad-Aware in Safe Mode? Mine is still fine after changing that windows path thing...

The ErrorSafe stuff is happening again. Is that because they also share one of the servers?
J, I tried your fix again - but it continues today.

We have our own server now.
The problem is on your computer. Some Trojan Horses pop up when visiting certain sites or sites using specific Ads. That is my understanding from J anyway.

My "fix" will prevent ALL communication between your machine and the company we use to serve our ads. If you are still having problems, there is no way our ad server is the problem.
Please download, install and run Ad-Aware from http://www.lavasoftusa.com/ Also try spybot search & destroy http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html

Will that improve my karma? :2smiley:
Hey y'all.
Spybot Search and Destroy (recommended by J in the 'Feb 16 outage' thread) fixes WinAnti and Errorsafe hijacking. I downloaded it last night from this site:
http://www.safer-networking.org/en/mirrors/index.html
Or
You can get a winzip download here: http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html

Must work Christine, I use spybot and I haven't had this since.
Anyone who says onions make you cry has clearly never been hit in the face with a turnip.
Fy fæn!
It's happening again. Spybot removed that crap, but now it's back and Spybot found no new problems.
Only happens when I visit this website.
J. Heellppppppp!!
You might need to install an anti-virus program.

You can try this too... http://www.remove-errorsafe.org/

J - question.
I used to get the system doctor/error safe crap at home and work. I changed the IP thing like you said at both places. Now I only get the frigging popups at work - how come I don't get them at home anymore do you know?
The ErrorSafe software is tricky and I'm not really that familiar with it.
It could be possible you have different versions of it installed on your machine.
not working, everytime i go to another page i get sytem doctor, i sownloaded what J reconmemended, it didnt help. iv been trying other things for hours now!
