Re: The Boy in the Box

My God... I think that is hands down one of the most heart breaking stories I have read. That poor, poor child. Someone out there somewhere must know who he is, and he deserves to have his identity known, so he can have a proper resting place. I don't understand this world... I don't understand how people can be so cruel and deviant.

Yes, they finally gave him his name. His parents had to be involved but both are dead now. He has living siblings though.

    Only 4 years old. Horrible.

Honestly, it had to be them. The only other explanation would be if they had given him up to someone else and never checked in again about his welfare and that person did it. Not completely out of the question during that time. Remember, abortion was illegal then and by the sounds of it, Dad wasn't the same father of the other siblings. It's possible that they did a private "off the grid" adoption situation after he was born. But the birth certificate exists with both parents on it so we know the source.
