As far as learning about characters' pasts, I think when Rick called the Gov out for being the town drunk was the best "holy shit!" revelation.

And I like Beth. Always have. I always root for the little guy though. And I also dig even the slightest of characters. The actor who played the guy who from the house with Rick is a really good actor who I've enjoyed in many things and I hope he gets more screen time.

I liked last night's episode a lot. More action and more personal stuff between characters. I liked the funeral home. Creepy. Wish they could have stayed there longer. I was kinda hoping some psycho mortician was living there and they would run into him/her.

i still don't get the hate for that episode. you have shows like the big bang theory, parks and recreation, 2 broke girls etc for mindless entertainment. this is an hour long post apocolyptic horror/drama. CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT IS NECESSARY. it might be *useless and boring* info now, but the things you learn will come into play later on in the series. frankly, i'd be bored if it was all zombie, zombie, zombie. those who are whinging about the lack of action are, in my opinion, really missing the whole point of the show. its first and foremost about people, not the undead.
