We didn't get to talk to him or anything, but it was still cool. We knew he was there because he led the first Tomahawk Chop of the game, then later when we were exploring (because it's a new stadium), we saw him from afar.

Z nation is better than fear the walking dead. I'm glad Travis died. Next they need to kill nick off so this series ends and they can set their focus on making the walking dead good again. Last season was horrible.
Travis got on my nerves, so I'm not upset he's gone. He was getting better, but still ... meh. I was reading the Fear sub on Reddit the other day, and people were losing their minds about Travis. "I'm never watching the show again!!!" ... and all that jazz. I just don't care enough about any of the characters to get bent out of shape when they die.
Nick isn't bothering me as much now that he's not perpetually covered in smegma.
My biggest complaint about the premier is that they didn't start with clips from last season's finale. I was having trouble remembering everything that happened. I thought I saved the last episode on our DVR for that very reason, but apparently I deleted it. Seems like a no-brainer to give a little recap at the beginning.

I thought the same thing until I watched Talking Dead. Now I'm pretty sure he's really dead. They said the shot came through the floor of the helicopter, entered his stomach and exited his neck (before plunging to the ground).
He might show up as a walker in a future episode or something, but he was written out of the show. He's already committed to doing a couple of Avatar movies, apparently.

Apparently in a "preview clip" it was hinted at.
I'm just not feeling FTWD. I tried watching it, but couldn't get into it. Hopefully I won't be totally lost watching TWD if I didn't keep up with FTWD.

I watched the first season and a few episodes in to the second and then gave up. I really dislike all of the characters and decided I couldn't care less if they lived or died.

Me too. I hated his guts at first, but he finally grew some balls and is much more likeable now.
Can help but laugh at the "shittin' pants" thing, though.
