FIFE, Wash. -- A disgruntled former employee is suspected of going on a joyride inside a warehouse overnight Monday, causing what could amount to $1 million in damages.

It happened at Milgard Windows and Doors Manufacturing at 910 54th Avenue East.

Police say an employee who has worked at Milgard for 30 years got inside the warehouse and drove around in a semi-truck.

He apparently drove up and down the aisles, smashing into racks of tempered glass that milgard manufactures. He also damaged the warehouse itself during his rampage.

?Glass everywhere. The racks that hold the glass had been damaged pretty extensively and there was a semi-truck that was backed into a wall, so there was some damage to the truck and the trailer itself,? said Lt. Tom Thompson, Fife Police.

Fife Police received a tip that led them to the employee?s home in Spanaway. They say he admitted to going on the rampage because he was upset that the company reassigned him.

He will be booked Monday afternoon and will almost certainly lose his job.

Geez... Talk about an over reaction, or going out with a bang. Depending on how you want to look at it.
