FATALITY ACCIDENT - THIS IS TROOP D'S 50TH FATALITY FOR YEAR 2010. ACCIDENT OCCURRED AS VEHICLE #1 WAS OVERTAKING VEHICLE #2 AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED. VEHICLE #1 STRUCK THE LEFT REAR DUAL OF VEHICLE #2. AFTER IMPACT VEHICLE #1 OVERTURNED SEVERAL TIMES AND CAME TO REST IN THE MEDIAN. DRIVER #1 WAS EJECTED AFTER IMPACT. VEHICLE #2 CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP ON THE RIGHT SHOULDER. ESTEP WAS PRONOUNCED DECEASED AT THE SCENE BY THE BARTON COUNTY CORONER DR. C. TUCKER JOUSTRA AT 1655 HOURS. NEXT OF KIN NOTIFIED. AS REQUIRED BY LAW DRIVERS TESTED FOR ALCOHOL. ASSISTED BY CPL J.E. WILDE #506, CPL S.R. RICHARDSON #753, TPR J.E. HENDERSON #286, TROOP A TPR K.A. SCHMUTZLER #1116, CVO K.G. Shelby Lea Estep, Aurora, Mo., daughter of Mark and Shawna (Dittmar) Estep was born January 3, 1993 in Springfield, Mo., and departed this life July 21, 2010, from injuries of a car accident, at the age of 17.
We were not ready for God to take her, but Shelby was prepared to go. She lived by a mature faith that was beyond her years. She was ready to share that faith with others at all times. She loved to make others laugh and woke up each morning with a smile on her face.
Shelby was a lifelong resident of the area. She attended Marionville High School and was a member of the FFA having served as Area 12 First Vice President and Vice President of the Marionville FFA. Shelby was active in high school softball, a member of the National Honor Society and worked on the school yearbook. She also was a member of the Northpoint Church in Springfield and was involved with the Northpoint Youth. She loved the game of softball and played on the SW MO Eclipse traveling softball team. In Shelby's free time, she enjoyed doing volunteer work at the Ozark Empire Fair.
Survivors include: her parents, Mark and Shawna Estep of Aurora; sisters, Jamie Leech of Marionville and Cheyanne Estep of the home; grandparents, Dwight and Judy Dittmar, Martha Johns, Knial Iorg and Wendall and Connie Estep; aunts and uncles, Dusty and Amy Dittmar, Shelley and Terry Cape and Patty Iorg; cousins, Klayton Dittmar, Koy Dittmar, Julia Cape, Jesse Cape and Grant Cape and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, July 25, 2010 in Northpoint Church, Springfield, Mo., with Cliff Henry and Troy Hartman officiating. Burial will be in Charity Cemetery, Crane under the direction of Manlove-Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m., Saturday in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to the Shelby Estep memorial fund to be used for an FFA Scholarship Fund at First Independent Bank or Impact at Northpoint Church.

I dont thinkthe Shelby in that myspace is the Shelby that passed in the car accident....alot of stuff doesnt add up between the obituary and myspace information.
