And in between the Holloway disappearance and now the Chile murder, van der Sloot was trying to engage in Human Trafficking Trade in Thailand. Most likely the girl's father will take justice in his own hands and van der Sloot will disappear into the night.

I think Keys meant the victim's father.

I find it weird that this murder was on the anniversary and so sloppy compared to Natalee. Make me wonder a little if he was set up. Not that I'd feel sorry for him.

[/quote]Thanks, I did mean the girls father.  Van der Sloot probably feels (over)confident with getting away with Holloway's death and possibly having connections within the casino world that he can walk away from this. I don't think his NY attorney will be any help at this point.

As bad as the Peruvian prison system is, I don't think they'll find him alive, he's gonna off himself.  He has nobody to clean up after him this time.  No real money for a defense. No jury for him in Peru, just three judges, he's toast.  Just my thoughts.

Unless this was a very elaborate set up, I can't see how he was set up. Maybe someone waiting in the room for him and the girl, and killed the girl? But then are there no witnesses to this 3rd person? Or video?
I just think he couldn't take this one to the beach, and this time he didn't have a friend with a boat.
He fled the country hoping they can't get him if he's back at home.

i don't even think he was on edge. I get the feeling that he thinks he did the "right" thing for himself and feels little to no remorse.  I think this girl didn't want to fuck him and he got pissed that he hung out w her at the casino for so long, probably got her drinks and then no payoff. They got into a fight and he killed her, whoops, no beach, no friend w a boat.... He had to break out of the country before housekeeping got there.

This douche doesn't want me on the jury lol.

Joran van der Sloot's lawyer, Joe Tacopina, said his client "has been falsely accused of murder once before. The fact is he wears a bull's-eye on his back now and he is a quote-unquote 'usual suspect' when it comes to allegations of foul play."

Originally thought to have absconded to Chile, law enforcement authorities in Peru now feel their unsuccessful search efforts demand widening their search web.

Joran is believed to have fled to Chile, according to immigration officials, on Monday. But the Dutch man previously accused of being involved in the disappearance of another young woman in 2005, Natalie Holloway, has not been seen or apprehended to date.
