The picture depicts the way Alyssa Haines was seen last by her mother Sabrina McKinnis of La Mesa, CA. It was taken before she left La Mesa on May 17, 2010 to Los Angeles. Her mother heard from Alyssa on a regular basis through text or phone calls until June 2nd. She started working at Macys in the Fox Hill Mall in early May 2010. The last time she was at work was May 31, 2010. Last activity on her cell phone was May 27th. A missing persons report was filed on June 19, 2009 by her mother with the La Mesa, Police Department.
Alyssa moved to Los Angeles at the end of March 2010 with two roommates. She did not have a job at the time and her roommates did. Alyssa started working for Macys in early May and at that time her roommate relationships had become strained, with Alyssa having to move with nowhere to go. She did not have a vehicle and rode the bus to work.
