LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB Fox 41) -- How much is your social security number worth? According to police, you could have sold it to a man from Tampa, Fla. yesterday -- for five dollars.

30-year-old Antonio F. Phillips was arrested yesterday afternoon after police received reports of a man in the 400 block of E. Jacob St. offering to buy social security numbers from passers-by for $5.

When officers arrived, they found 15-20 people crowded around Phillips' car, according to a police report.

In addition to weapons and cash, officers found a list of homeless shelters and scheduled meal times in his car. They also found a list of names and social security numbers.

The people crowded around his car said they were from the Franciscan Shelter House in the 700 block of S. Preston Street.

One person admitted that he had given Phillips his social security number in exchange for $5 and a promise that a check for money from President Obama's stimulus plan would be sent to him.

Phillips is charged with trafficking in stolen identities and carrying a concealed deadly weapon.
