Awesome song! We had tickets to see them a few years back, but they canceled the show. Now I have that song in my head!

About 2 weeks into my relationship with Beck she played the song Damage by Plumb. She said it was about her and she was trying to let me know how messed up she was. It's always been a special song to me:
Artist: Plumb
Song: Damaged
Album: Candycoatedwaterdrops
dreaming comes so easily
'cause it's all that i've known
true love is a fairy tale
i'm damaged, so how would i know
i'm scared and i'm alone
i'm ashamed
and i need for you to know
i didn't say all the things that i wanted to say
and you can't take back what you've taken away
'cause i feel you, i feel you near me
i didn't say all the things that i wanted to say
and you can't take back what you've taken away
'cause i feel you, i feel you near me
healing comes so painfully
and it chills to the bone
will anyone get close to me?
i'm damaged, as i'm sure you know
there's mending for my soul
an ending to this fear
forgiveness for a man who was stronger
i was just a little girl, but i can't go back
[/quote]
I'm going to download and listen to it... now.
Perhaps i spent too long hibernating?
Wow, that's a really nice song. :-)

hey, just wanted to give my condolences to Art. I lost my fiancee due to suicide when I was much younger and I understand the devastation left behind. And I'm sure my first husband understands the work Erin is putting into your new relationship. Love to both, and take good good care

The website was a place for her self expression. We took the site down the week of her passing. she was also going to be on the cover of some horror magazine covered in blood in a bathtub, I also had that pulled.

My condolences Art. I hope you find peace within yourself and realize that you did what any man in love would do with a "damaged" girl he loved, you stayed by her side. Forgive yourself, just never forget LadyBeque.
Erin - You are one helluva woman. Stay strong and keep loving.

Just a query - if it was her place of self expression, why did you take it down?

Cause I didn't want men masturbating to pictures of my dead wife....did I really need to explain this?
Only explain what you want.
She obviously didn't mind it in life, why would she mind it in death?
Personal choice only but I can't really see the difference hence why I asked. Sorry if you were offended. Each to their own.
The thing is HE obviously minded. He is the one who has to go on, and try to find a way to deal with everything.
The thing that strikes me the most about all of this is that we should all be so lucky to have someone care about us the way Art obviously cared for Beck, even with all of her problems. i don't think that there are too many who would be able to do that.
I was just asking a question and he asked if he needed to explain - I was just curious. As I said, each to their own. Everyone would have acted in different ways probably.
Vod - got any more thoughts on this thread?
