I am not stabby. I even apologized to someone today.
This thread veered seriously off the path (although not into a tree). What was it about again? Ah yes, Amanda. I'd like to know if others in the car were drunk, as well. She was going 90 MPH in a 45 zone.

They were all drunk, according to this:
[quote author=MYFOX8.COM]
All three passengers killed in a car crash last month had blood-alcohol levels over the legal limit, according to toxicology reports released by the state medical examiner's office.
Taylor McCaskill, who was 18, had a blood-alcohol level of .27, more then three times the legal limit of .08, according to the report. Eighteen-year-old Sascha Hoffmann's BAC was .18, and 23-year-old Scott Bedwell's was .12, the reports said.
The driver, 20-year-old Amanda Sperduti, had a blood-alcohol content of .20 according to samples taken about two and a half hours after the crash. Sperduti was the only person in the car to survive, and she has been charged with three counts of felony death by vehicle and DWI, among other charges.
Trooper Mitchell Mann, who was the first Highway Patrol officer on the scene, said he found an empty can of Coors Light and a sealed bottle of Benchmark liquor in or near the 2008 Acura.
Hoffmann's father, Uwe Hoffmann, said the group had been at a graduation party the night of the accident.

As they all had been at a graduation party where they likely got drunk, I wonder if the host will be sued.
RIP Taylor, Sascha, Scott

Oh, hell, everyone will be sued, right down to the janitor who mopped the floor in the bathroom at the place they bought the booze.

Another young hottie wraps their car around a tree, killing passengers. I wonder if these people were drinking in the car, like that other case.
RIP Sascha Hoffmann,Taylor McCaskill and Scott Bedwell
(She might want to remove her "we like to party" folder.....

Does anyone remember the thread about the woman drunk driver whose passenger died; the D.A. decided to do a bit of internet research, stumbled upon her MySpace which was loaded with pictures of her drinking and smoking taken AFTER the accident and comments she had made to friends saying she didn't feel bad because the guy who died knew she was drunk and CHOSE to get into the car with her? As I recall, because of her incriminating MySpace, they pretty much threw the book at her HARD.
My point is, yeah, she probably ought to take down the "we like to party" folder
