Is that what was going on?  So was it the dark haired guy telling the gross fat incest guy his story when they were in jail?

    [/quote]

No, I think it had to do with the story line and reference to time.

He says, "Time fucks up everything..." and you can tell he is admitting to some indiscrestion in his life. Technically it the 'end' of the movie, but it pertains to sexual deviance and what happens in the movie.

Time fucks up everything. Time fucked them up with their anger and revenge. It lead ultimately to their fucked up demise, although wouldn't you do the same?

    That was my take.

The Strangers is genuinely the only movie that has ever scared me ever - as in actually staying with me after the film and leaving me feeling scared/unsettled - as opposed to just making me jump - which it did but lots of movies have. And boy did I get obsessed with the Keddie Murders after that.

Has anyone here seen the Antichrist? I haven't seen that, and don't intend to, but I do believe it would definitely be the most disturbing movie you'd ever see - a friend of mine watched it and I was so intrigued by her reaction that I read a little about it, and I even wish I'd not done that, it's making me squeeze my legs together as we speak shall we say.

I decided to watch The Strangers last night after it got mentioned on here.  Choosing to watch it alone and in the dark wasn't a smart idea.  I switched it off after I jumped at one part and nearly choked to death on my popcorn :|

I'm going to check out this August Underground movie.

I feel like something is wrong with me because movies just don't mess with me AT ALL.

I remember when Blair Witch came out and everyone was all zomg-ing about it.  I was like, "This is retarded".  It didn't help that before I actually saw the movie the actors who were supposed to be "real people" were doing an interview on MTV.

Paranormal Activity was meh, I was too busy being impressed with what a nice house they had for being college students.

Has anyone seen the poughkeepsie tapes?

I need opinions. I thought it was lame and I had waited years for it to come out.

The most disturbing movie for me is 'Vampire'. I was expecting more than the story ever made. Even I don;t know what was wrong with the story and the end was total bullshit.

I'm also bothered when the guy in Home Alone steps on the nail and the curbstomp in American History X.  Just certain scenes make me feel icky.

My three year old laughs .. and laughs... and laughs at that part. My little sicko.  :-D

I've never been bothered by a movie. I may or may not have serial killer potential.

I felt the same way, I knew beforehand how much the movie cost to make and I was impressed by that fact alone. However, still mediocre.

Absolute hands down - Bad Boy Bubby  :-o

Bad Boy Bubby is just that: a bad boy. So bad, in fact, that his mother has kept him locked in their house for his entire thirty years, convincing him that the air outside is poisonous. After a visit from his estranged father, circumstances force Bubby into the waiting world, a place which is just as unusual to him as he is to the world.

Definitely 'Silent Hill'. I don't know why, but that movie freaks me out and I can't sleep after watching it.

The Cell with Jennifer Lopez. The imagery really terrified me.

Re: What is the most disturbing movie you have ever seen?

I dont really have any movies that distrubed me in the past, but lately, I have been hearing a bunch of stuff about The Human Centipede: First Sequence. Everyone I have heard talking about it has said it is one of the most horribly disturbing movies ever made.

You know a movie is good when a review ends with:

The Human Centipede (First Sequence) is a dangerous movie. If you think this movie isn't for you, you're probably right. This is a movie that assaults your soul and leaves you changed. Or maybe the best way to put it is that The Human Centipede is a movie that leaves you scarred.
    http://www.chud.com/articles/articles/20969/1/REVIEW-THE-HUMAN-CENTIPEDE-FIRST-SEQUENCE/Page1.html

And still gets a 9/10 score.

I can't wait to be scarred! It's playing in a local film festival this week, But I doubt I will have time to go see it. I will probably wait until Netflix gets it.
