What do you do though? How did this start?
It must be really fucking inconvenient. I mean, how can you never be alone? How would that even work? :?
    [/quote]

    It is not easy.
I had a pretty bad childhood and I think thats why I dont like being alone.

Well Im 20 and Iv been with my partner for 3 years now.
And before him I was in a 1 year relationship and before him a 2 year relationship.
I also have friends that know I dont like being alone, so when my partner is away they come stay over.

Before him, you were a child. For crying out loud.
    Those aren't relationships!

That sucks though. You should look into trying to do something about that. It's not a healthy/convenient way to live. For serious.

Dude, you're not even street legal yet! What are you, 20?
You can't act like you've tried everything at this point. Hell, you haven't had enough time to try anything when you look at it.

Don't give up now, you're just getting started. Trust me, you can't go through life needing people around 24/7. It's going to be a difficult time for you. And it's not like therapists push a magic button and fix everything. It's going to be a long and difficult process, but it'll be worth it. The alternative is ugly, I have seen it. Trust me. When you want just ANYONE to be around you, it's not gonna end well.

It's kind of neat, really. The only addiction I can't cure is the MDS one.
And I swear, I can't even pee without someone banging on the door at least four times. Forget taking a shower.

Iv been in therapy since I was 11.
Im 21 this year so Iv been at it along time.
And I did the just wanting anyone around you part.
My ex (before my 3 year relationship that Im still in) beat me and cheated on me for a year before I felt I had the support to dump him.
Im doing alot better than I was.
I dont want to never be alone because when I do get 5 min alone I feel like my head can sort more things out than if Im around alot of people.
    If that made sense  :|

Yes part of that is true.

Basicly from the age of 10 I helped my mum take care of my autistic little brother.
Then my mum got sick so I had to look after them both.
My brother cant talk or do anything like a "normal" child can.
So I never told my mum because she had enough going on.

Me being a carer for my brother I feel is one of the reasons I feel I need people around me.
    1) Incase something happens to me then they can make sure he is safe.
    2) Since my mums been sick she spent all her time on the net and not really talking to me.

I wasnt allowed to go out with friends I had to have them at my mums house.
And that was only for 1 hour a week.
So I started clinging onto the people that cared about me enough to see me.
    Then I left home.

I was in that situation for 8 years.

My dad and mum broke up when I was a baby.
And hes always in different countrys working.

yea when my car got hit, the cops knocked at my door at 1:30am and they knocked like they were raiding the place.  I jumped up and looked around like, "HIDE THE DRUGS!!!"
meanwhile, i dont do any drugs.  damn knock just freaks me out, i think its instinctual.

    Its okay.
To be honest even though Im only 20 Iv lived as a adult since I was 10.
I never wanted to grow up so fast but no one else would help my mum and brother.
Alot of shit happens and I guess that just part of life but having people around takes my mind off how f**ked up my life has been.

    On a lighter note,
Anyone else scared of lifts??
