Dumb things that scare you/creep you out

I fell asleep to a show that had an old newscast on it and I realized it kind of freaked me out.

Which is weird because when I was a kid, I would listen to old tapes of shows like Fibber McGee and Molly and Gangbusters while going to sleep  (totally normal, I'm sure).

I don't like space or underwater sounds or creepy old news reporter men voices and radio noise.  That's absolutely stupid to be creeped out by.  I think however, it stemmed from listening to this shit:

This is coming from someone who is pretty cool guy and doesn't afraid of anything.  

Also, since I'm insomnia ridden, I had an argument today that Freddy wasn't a pedophile, just blamed for it and burned in the boiler room which is why he is raged out.  I was told he was one.  I know, the discourses in my life are amazing.

Fuck that.  That is a heart attack waiting to happen for me.  The Mylar ones don't bother me so much.  When they pop they just sort of deflate.

No, but if you're stupid enough to suck the helium out of them (like I was.. :roll:)..it can make you feel pretty  .  Regular balloons don't but those mylar ones are a killer.  I get creeped out by the sound balloons make when you rub them..the sqeak...or the sound it makes when  you rub it on your hair...same with styrofoam...I can't stand that sound...gives me the willies.

I sucked helium a few times as a kid.  I think all kids have at some point.  I stopped once I saw one of my friends get light headed and pass out though. :lol:

Oh, and styrofoam packing peanuts are the worst about that noise.

I fucking LOATHE balloons.

I have never met anyone in my entire life who is also terrified of inflated balloons. It's so ridiculous, but it is a life-long phobia I have always had since I was a child. I just cannot handle being in the presence of such beastly creations.

In my mind, there is no form of torture that would be more horrific than being tied to a chair, in a room full of balloons, with a balloon being rubbed slowly and seductively over my hair and face. Fuck that shit. For real.  :2abused:

working in the apt. industry, we always have to make a huge string of baloons everyday for curb appeal. there was coworker of mine who was extremely scared of balloons...the noise it makes while being blown up, the fear of it popping. whenever it was her day to do it, i would just do it for the poor girl. im mean, she would start to hyperventalate (spelling?). we would also have to not bring them inside, we had to walk from the maintenance shop all around to the front to tie them to a pole b/c of her fear.

They're scary.  They smell funny, the noises that come from them make my teeth hurt, and I'm terrified of them popping.  I hate guns and fireworks for this reason, too.  Anything that has the potential to go POP sends me into a fetal position.

Spiders. I'm serious, the TINIEST spider crawling up my wall makes me jump back and get the nearest magazine. If the spider's bigger than my thumbnail, fuck that. I'm getting a damn cleat.
Going near water in a car scares the shit out of me. My dad used to drive into a port where nothing stopped us from driving off of it and into the ocean, and I'd SCREECH as a child and wail.
I'm afraid of men as well. If I'm walking alone at night I have 9-1-1 typed into my phone just in case, and if a man walks by me and I'm alone my heart's racing and my adrenaline's pumping.
I'm fucking PHOBIC of hair in my food, which is why if I get spaghetti I'm sifting through it first and I look on my burger. If I ever had to pull a hair out of my mouth I wouldn't eat for a month.
I worry a lot about the apocalypse and the end of the world too, and liberals taing over America.
