No I haven't seen it. I'll have to check it out tomorrow. I'm currently phone posting from bed while my bf snores in my ear. FML.

Phone posting from bed rules. WAY better than reading with a light on.

My husband fell out of bed this morning. It was the funniest thing ever.

    I don't have a problem with that.

I do have a problem with my mom putting nuts or celery in chicken salad.
stuff that is meant to be mushy, should not have crunchy stuff in it.

This is my problem with mashed potatoes.  If you're going to feed me pablum, chunks be gone.  :-)  I can live with eating chewy food until it becomes forgiving, and I can live with soft food until I get a crunchy bit.  I can't do both.

I dislike mashed potatoes too, but I'll manage to eat them on Thanksgiving or something. I hate baked potatoes even more. [/quote]

That's it, you are dead to me.  I am sure this will upset you.

I'm back. Also I am very lucky I was able to restrain my temper or else I would have left behind a trail of dead bodies from Nevada to California.  :2angry:

I do like french fries though.

I cant eat  mashed potatoes ever... It's not the fact that i think they taste gross, because i've tasted some mashed potatoes that i really wished i could eat without gagging.. but i get like three bites down and start gagging and have to stop before i
Baked potatoes are worse, youre right.
french fries are the best, man. and I like hashed browns but not the stringey ones, i like the ones that are like chunks..

I LOVE scalloped potatos!!! My poor husband hates them because of me. When we first started living together I would make them pretty much everynight with dinnner. I make them once every couple of months now and he still cringes.  :|

I disagree (sorry, Brie) that any potato is good.  Go eat at my Mom's some time and you'll see.

However, IMO, scalloped potatoes are like the best carb ever.  I have a bajillion recipes.  Pheno, my hubby got pretty sick of them, too, so I realized they needed to just not be the same every time.  I don't know what it is with that, because I will happily eat the same casserole for 3 days, but none of the men I know ever want to have the same meal twice in a week.  I just looked a little for a specific recipe for a potato pie that is basically scalloped potatoes with mushrooms and wine sauce but I can't seem to find it right now.  If your hubby won't deal, here's a recipe for one, oh my!

ETA:  Oops, forgot to add, scalloped potatoes freeze well if you don't use mayo or light cream or eggs (I don't understand the egg recipes, anyway).  So I haven't tried this one but sounds all right to me.  Usually I just make up a pan and freeze servings.

    Scalloped potatoes are bad.

    Baked potatoes are good.

    Mashed potatoes are heavenly.

Scalloped potatoes are the best thing ever!  I stand by it, and have recipes to counter any argument you may have on the subject.

Baked potatoes and I have a very good relationship.  Mashed potatoes & I, not so much.
