New MDS Format - Do you like it? Hate it?

When I first got on, the colors were ALL kinds of fucked up. I couldn't see the text because the color was so close to the background. After I went to the home page, and came back to the forum, it was like it corrected itself.
I like the homepage.
I also did a search, and that was pretty cool.

I can't read blue writing on a grey background

I think it's okay. The heading makes me have to scroll more through my page though. It looks good with the home page but I think with the forum it just looks out of place. I'd like it more if I could collapse it like the other ones.

The writing isn't set to blue automatically. Is that a browser setting you have? (Some people have their settings all whacky... like big font, pink text, etc.)

Also, what browser are you using?

If hers looks anything like mine did, it doesn't look ANYTHING like what I am seeing now. It was a real pain in the ass to strain my old eyes to figure out where to click. Also, the links at the top were black, when I scrolled over those, they were red. The rest of the text was light blue on gray.

My links at the top are all in blue as are all my page numbers.  I've gone backwards and forwards to the home page and restarted my browser and nothing changes lol

[/quote]That's weird. Mine was a lot like that except for the black ones changing red. It was pretty difficult to navigate. I don't have any funky setting on mine, either. There is nothing on this hard drive, and what is was just installed less than 2 weeks ago, so things are updated, too.

My firefox updated itself this morning so every thing is up to date.

I can live with whatever the problem with mine is.

If the background wasn't white, I could see myself liking it. If by the "change" you mean some new links at the top and a font change in some places, lol.

I used to be able to change the color of the forum on my options (if not here, than on another forum I was on that used the exact same php setup), is there a way to change the background to a light gray or something? That's the only issue I have with it, otherwise, it looks sharp.

leapfreak- I have the newest firefox too, and am having no problems with the formatting- maybe it's a setting you've adjusted or something?  The only issue I have is i can't get to the "more" emoticons when i post. :(

The more emoticon button works for me and I use Firefox. Apparently I've got the new one 3.0.17) downloaded but not installed yet so maybe Firefox is being finicky.
