I know you guys get this question all the time, but I am wondering - has anybody submitted a death RECENTLY? Can you tell me how long it took? I am all anxious to see if mine shows up, and I know there is probably a backlog, but I see new deaths posted all the time and I keep wondering if mine was deemed "not good enough" or what.
they'll all show up eventually. yes, there is a backlog.

I submitted one today and it came onto MDS within maybe 5 mins. It was a good one though!
Other deaths I've submitted take a month or two. Don't hold your breath but you might get lucky.
You gotta wait in line. And then you gotta wait for all of Olivia's submissions. Wait time: approx 12 years :lol:

Sometimes I will post all the most recent deaths. Other times I will find an interesting name (i.e.- Lloyd) and post all deaths with that name. Sometimes I will search for suicides, train accidents, etc.
You never know what will be posted next.
How long does it take after you submit a death for it to post?

I was going to say I was still waiting, and I typed the name of the person who I submitted. When I posted, the last name turned into "REMOVE POST" so I guess maybe she is not allowed to be on MDS. She had a MySpace, and she's dead...not sure why she couldn't be on MDS? :?

geez god forbid I die, i would be so offended if my death wasnt "good enough" to be posted on a website about death. I mean what the hell does a bitch have to do to get some attention around here.. as if there isnt enough pressure, now you have to die in some crazy entertaining way to get some attention. * what is the world coming too * :? :lol:
I've submitted a few, some take a day or two, some take a week or so.
