it is so gross, it makes me want to watch TV and do nothing all day...but I made spaghetti sauce and banana bread from scratch today so at least the house smells nice and it's warm and cosy in here.

my feet are so not cute at this moment, I would have to bake you 3 loaves. I put tons of spicey sausage both ground and links in my sauce, it's quite 'mazin if I do say so myself!

So the flooding has begun.  I look out at the creek while on my way to the kitchen and see it's a little high.  I made my self a cup of coffee and look out and the water is even with the bridge and the whole field is flooded with fast running water.  I look down and see the road just crack and fall away.  The basement has water coming up to a dangerous level so I call my husband to come home.  On his way home the car behind him gets smashed by a huge chunk of ice that fell of the cliff.  Armageddon!

Yeah, it was too quick of a rise in temperature.  Yesterday in the twenties, today 58, plus the rain isn't helping.  Hard to believe starting tonight through the rest of the week...snow.

we were supposed to get a 'dusting' of snow and we already have six inches.  it's not supposed to stop snowing until tomorrow morning and then it is supposed to snow again on wednesday.

We got 55 inches between Monday and Thursday nights. 

I still can't drive anywhere. Probably won't see my van til spring. 

You guys will probably get some serious icy roads with your temps. Drive safe in that shit.

55 inches!  we didn't even get that much in december, i think we topped out around 35.  fuckina. 

we had nasty ice last week, it was bad but it sure made the trees look pretty. 

i'm in for the night, blizzard outside ruined my sushi date but i stopped and picked some up on my way home.

The  trees do look pretty when they are icy. What is even prettier is all of the jobs it makes in my line of work, although I am on work hiatus at the moment.  :x
