I wear rain boots (red plaid!) because I hate when the bottom of my pant leg gets soaked.  I feel like it never dries.

Okay, point for you. The heels of my sneakers are usually high enough to avoid this.

You think so? We say that in Germany when someone's not used to our language, so that some sentences appear to be strange or are understood in a wrong meaning. So some things that I mean in an ironically way could be strange or even rude for you.

I would have never known you were foreign if you didn't say so.  Your English is too good for you to fall under the FPB umbrella.
