Jimmy Hoffa

This one means a lot to me for many different reasons. I wish his family could have closure. I know a lot of jokes have been made as to his whereabouts. He will never be found.    Now his son, James P. Hoffa is head of the IBT. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmy_Hoffa

    Re: Jimmy Hoffa

My dad knew Hoffa personally because he was in charge of Teamster's when dad was in the Union.  I have always wished Hoffa would be found.  I know he probably won't but I keep hoping!!!

    Re: Jimmy Hoffa

I was a Teamster for over ten years. I also lived in the area where all of this happened. I have "a theory" of what could have happened based on information that I have. Without being too detailed, I think he was pushing a certain company to become union when he got out of prison. Apparently, he was pushing on the wrong company. It just happened to be owned by someone who wasn't in the spotlight and was also connected. Your dad is lucky, Sarabei! I wish I could have met him just once. I did meet Ron Carey, though.

My dad is shop steward of his Teamster local.  He's hitting 30 years there.  That's about all I have to contribute to this

Anyone who wants to stick it to the man is OK in my book. Too bad the people that did this will never see justice.

My father is convinced that Hoffa had JFK assassinated and in retaliation Uncle Teddy had him removed from the planet

    Re: Jimmy Hoffa

I am reading a book called "Confessions of a Mafia Contract Killer" and they only mention him once.  It's a quote by the guy that the book is about (Richard Kuklinski).  I'm sure Hoffa won't be found but I wish his family could have closure.  I would have liked to met him.

Another person I would have like to have met would be James "Whitey" Bulger.  I don't think he'll ever be found either.

Black people have an unexplainable and undeniable allegiance to the Kennedy family.
I have no idea where that outburst came from.

My hubs is a Teamster, no wonder we get along swimmingly :) But ya, he'll probably never be found. I'm betting someone had ties to a funeral home or something and had him taken care of. Just a guess.
No, he won't be found. I think he was dumped in a local state, though. The person that I think orchestrated it died a couple of years ago, but the company is still in business.

I think he was in a car that got turned into a scrap cube. But that's just my thinking.
The word that I got was, "We got the big fish." and his remains were taken to a nearby state.   I think that might be the first time I have discussed my heritage here-unless I was drunk..but you know how those Irish & Native Americans are.

They use to crush cars into little cubes and then sell them to the Japanese.

I know...lol...I was wanting more details of Gotha's opinion, she is being particularly vague!!  Seriously though, I always did think he was crushed up in a car somewhere.  Why wouldn't that be the perfect place to stash him??
I don't mean to be vague. I tried to turn the info over when I got it, and I was basically told to stfu. I came across it inadvertantly. It was shit that I didn't want to know involving someone I was close to. Now that I am a little older, it's kind of scary. I wil say that both parties are dead.
