For me it would have to be little Imani Joyner. She was stolen from her grave, a hole punched in the coffin and her body pulled through and used for religious sacrifices then later found in a river in a completely different state.  :2huh:

Crazy thing is the theives reburied the coffin so well that it was never detected that she was gone. No one knew until the corpse showed up in the river. Evidence showed though that it had been quit some time. Poor parents had been visiting and empty grave.

The little girl had been born with a disorder and wasn't expected to live but fought for 2 years before finally dieing. Then she can't rest in peace she has to be stolen and her body violated.

I'd have to say for me it was that Mindy that used to be an MDS member.  I wasn't around at the same time she was, but I read a lot of her posts and her thread and it seemed the most "real" to me because a lot of you knew her.  She seemed like she was an amazing person!

For me it would have to be the one about the little boy who was murdered by his moms boyfriend. The moms boyfriend chased him with a meat cleaver and hacked him to death. I remember it was one of the first articles I read and I remember going to bed and just crying. I can't imagine how terrified that little boy must have felt.

What was the name of the girl that died in the hot tub?  Her parent's were loons and the thread became epic then DBD shut it down.

Speaking of loons, remember the girl who died in the drunk driving accident and her mother turned her MySpace into a memorial from the girls pov?  She was all over the place here.  I can't believe I can't remember her name! Dawn or something?

I remember that one I think. The name eludes me though. There have been some epic death threads here over the years!

Another one that sticks with me is the young girl who was allegedly killed by her brother and friend. Elizabeth Schalchin ( sp ) I think.

Since I have been here, I stay away from most of the death, ironically.  But when I started, it was all I really posted in.  Lorena Sandoval's story got to me, just by disgusting me.

Vanessa Borg, because she was my friend and the person that brought me to this site.  Also Eliza Sudol went to high school with my best friend and was an acquaintance of mine.  The way she died freaked me out, it was so sudden and from left field.

Re: Death that struck you the most

Does anyone remember the girl that was murdered by her older boyfriend?  The 911 call was posted and you could hear her in the background. The boyfriend apparently got her outside to the car and killed her.  There was a huge controversy because she was a minor and he was quite older.  I think this may have happened in the Northeast.  If I could remember more than this I'm sure I would've found it on my own.

Edit:  Friggin found it ... finally!

Shelby Armstrong, definitely. She was one of the first people I read about on this website.. then I didn't visit the site for a little over a year when one day, her picture just randomly popped into my head. I had forgotten her name and I went through SO many pages just to find her. It makes me feel so strange, being so intrigued by a dead girl. She was just so beautiful.

I can't find the article here, but it was this one: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/927941/the_death_of_danieal_kelly_philadelphias.html?cat= 17

I was obsessed and read the whole grand jury report, saw the pics, have followed it every step. I'm not sure if it is because that poor girl was in Philly or whatever, but fuck.... her death and the 5 month old baby were the only ones to give me nightmares.
