    Said it downloaded, then didn't show up.
    Maybe it went to the cache folder.

    However, I've uploaded the files to a file hoster, too:

    http://www.file-upload.net/download-1756402/mds0906.xls.html
    http://www.file-upload.net/download-1756403/mds0906.zip.html
    http://www.file-upload.net/download-1756404/mdsdoubles.txt.html

    That should do the trick.

    Your mdsdoubles upload has a SQL error.

    Your mdsdoubles upload has a SQL error.
    The server is a bit jumpy today. I got SQL errors during the upload, too. Just reload and try again or try again without reload or try it again later.

    Hello there! I might be asking you for some advice about spreadsheets, as they're making me use them in work and I have no idea what I'm doing. :oops:

    'what  a rush' ==> It's quote from "Slegde Hammer!". It means flooded by a large amount of data in a fraction of a second (see also Halo/Cortana). And that's exactly what happens when you open the Excel file.
    Hey, I said that I was kidding. Do you really think I'm that cracked? My computer did all the work. I just told it how.

    i just wanted to say that i love Halo.

    and wow to the computer/ organization skills.  I would like to do stuff like this with grades and stuff with my students.

    Nothing. I'm a poor student with plenty of time on my hands. :P

    Re: mds data - 'what a rush'

    Added August deaths:

    http://www.file-upload.net/download-1877365/mds0908.zip.html

    Added also a macro that allows you to search the table. There's a little grey button in the first cell (A1). Press it to open the search window. The macro creates a "mds_data.txt" file which stores you settings, and a "mds_data.htm" file which contains the matches. The code overwrites existing files (mds_data.txt, mds_data.htm) without a warning everytime you press the "create html file" button.

    (Note the browser: Netscape. A dead browser for dead people.)

    Some instructions:

    search for fields
    ============
    all fields: separate search terms by a comma (,); exclude search terms by a leading minus (-)
    number fields: accept numbers; accept a leading greater-than (>) or less-than (<) character; accept a minus (-) between two numbers (means from-to)
    text fields: accept any character; accept a hash (#) as a separator, f.e.: #anna# ==> searches for anna as a middle name (#anna ==> last name, anna# ==> first name, anna ==> anywhere: anna, hanna, hannah, etc.)

    sort by
    =====
    Sorts the results in ascending order. If you want a descending order, check the "des" box.

    image source
    ==========
    online: collects the images from the net
    offline: collects the images from the "mdspics" folder on your harddisk; you need the images from the link below for this option

    http://www.file-upload.net/download-1873045/mdspics.zip.html (extract this file into the same folder where the mds excel file is located)

    Please report errors.

    Our county morgue lists public data of those who they perform autopsies on. I also keep a journal and spreadsheet of thier info and how they died. It's a hobbie of mine.
