Hey everyone!  I must admit that I have been reading this site religiously for about a month now and just got around to joining... I'm so glad I've found my new home since everyone else thinks I'm a little crazy with my morbid fascinations!  I'm in school to be a mortician actually and am enjoying it very much so far.  Nice to finally meet everyone!

Wow- I never knew that a site would exist that could drain more hours from my life than myspace.Â* Anyway, I wanted to introduce myself- I have been visiting this site every day for the past month.Â* My friends and I have made a pact that if any of us die we will post the deaths here.Â* Also, if we die due to our lame ass actions we are perfectly comfortable with any and all shit you can send our way.Â* At this point my death is sure to be linked with -"Life drained away by mydeathspace addiction".Â* Enough said, this site has my support... and my blood... sweat... a tear or two... some laughs...

I think this site, while morbid to some, is absolutely fascinating. Beyond the obvious heaviness of these deaths (mostly young people in their prime, the core demographic), this site offers something I've never seen before on the 'net, since I first signed on back in 1995: The reality that we are all mortal; each and every one of use are bound to the same physical laws, no matter how special you think you might be. I've known a lot of individuals on the 'net since I signed up, but only met a handful. Who knows where they are now.

Every time I visit I am rapt with awful attention while reading the newest entries. Mostly sad, careless deaths of the young and 'invulnerable'. I was once young and 'invulnerable' too... too many scars and many heartaches later, I've learned to respect the time I have left and hope some of you punks (I say that lovingly) will take into consideration what your purpose is here. We all die, but we aren't BORN TO DIE.

Enough of my B.S. Have fun while ya can. Just don't end up here too soon.

I wouldn't mind being posted here after I died, but since I don't have a MySpace account, that won't be happening. Maybe I'll write into my will that my family create a post-mortem MySpace account.
