I can say i have read every post in the missing boards, take a hour and flick through some of the threads in pages 2 and 3 of the missing with myspaces part, google a couple. You will find very little newer info than maybe one article or a national missing persons page we have up here i know this because i often take a look.

People go missing everyday yet it very rarely hits the media apart from maybe local news.

This thread has been turning slowly insane, i think she walked or he killed her, my bets are on the latter. If i am wrong and she has been taken by foreign/African extremists, feel free to come back to say i told you so but all the "correct" info that has been posted here has seemingly been blown out of all proportion IMO.

There is far more info in this case than some of them...

Some people are being over-defensive. I am not making any definite claims that one theory is right, and the others totally wrong. Recall that I suggested that Kellie might have been able to obtain a passport under her birth name "Billie Jo Cox." The reality could be something that we don't expect, since we aren't being provided with much solid info.

Here is one theory, and it has at least two major bugs. But here it goes.

I don't think that Kellie was actually a drug dealer; she seems too retiring, sensitive and (according to the journal) she doesn't have a large number of social contacts. BUT she may have had some very small involvement like simply delivering some package to an exclusive address. Since Kellie comes across as a typical college girl, she would not seem suspicious in a nice neighborhood.

According to her journal, many of her friends were seriously into drugs. She admits to experimenting with drugs, but she herself doesn't seem to have been a heavy user.

The descriptions of the WH atmosphere on this board lead me to believe that she probably had some purpose in mind. Since the restaurant caters to truck drivers (and travelers), its central and convenient highway locations probably also make them  meeting places. And, this particular WH was also right near an airport.

Say some ring of dope dealers were running a racket where the dope comes in by (private?) plane to the airport, then the contact rents a car at the airport, drives a very short distance to the WH, where he meets a "delivery person." He and the delivery person just hang around for a little while & maybe drink a soda & chit-chat in the parking lot; after a while, they discretely switch car keys. [This possibility would explain why some people claimed that she was seen with her boyfriend that night at the WH]. Kellie may have (for example) left the WH parking lot in a rental car or at least in someone else's car.

Serious comment and question:  MI types don't run around abducting people - that's not what they do.  I know what I'm talking about here so that just makes no sense to me.    I'm not sure if you're suggesting the military (ours or some other country's) could be involved in this?  Or did you mean the crime seems to smack of military-like precision? or strategy?  or tactics?

Just a thought. There are multiple possibilities, but maybe there's a chance that they were using rental cars, which  can be both cute and nondescript. The airport there looks small. How many cars would have actually gone out on the night of April 25? Maybe they could just pull up all their VIN numbers and sweep them for Kellie's DNA. Then, the credit info on the account might lead to her contact.

frank has an enormous poster of gillian anderson in a latex suit in our bedroom.  i always shove it behind the dresser (that's been her new home since frank moved in), but once in awhile it's out in front of the dresser.  we have serious fights over scully in her latex.  haha.

If you find this theory entirely implausible, please specify which details don't work & why. Consider it an intellectual exercise.

Also, other theories may be equally valid & contain certain valuable insights and truths as well.

Without confirmed facts, however, making a definite commitment to any theory is not possible.

That being said: If there was in fact a will and/or suicide note in Kellie's car, then Kellie surely did not put it there.

Let's say she and her contact switched keys. Then she drives off in the rental car, while he awaits her return inside of her car. Kellie would not want him to see any such document because he would probably become suspicious of her. He is  in communication (more on that  later ... ) with various look-outs & protection along the route; some who are unknown to her. No doubt her contact would have some way to deal with the possibility that his delivery person is not ... reliable.

"Goodbye to all. Please take care of my cats ...." That's not what he wants to read.

I just don't get what you are trying to say. How is doing a DNA sweep on some rental cars "going off the deep end"? My local news station makes it sounds like a standard practice. Do you mean that the procedure is too expensive?
