VALLEY — The local teen charged with seven armed robberies last month now faces charges for another armed robbery.

Township police charged Evan Svein Tonnesen, 19, of Coatesville, Monday for his alleged role in the March 29 armed robbery at the Domino's Pizza in the 1100 block of West Lincoln Highway.

A store employee was leaving the pizza shop and walking to his car about 11:40 p.m. when two males ran from the rear of the store toward him, according to court records. One of the males was reportedly holding what appeared to be a semiautomatic handgun, records state. The male with the gun demanded money. The robbers took roughly $75 from the victim, police said.

After an investigation, police charged Tonnesen and Jonathan Lambert, 18, of Coatesville, with robbery and related charges.

Jonathan Lambert:

Last month, West Chester police arrested Tonnesen and Lambert for their alleged roles in two pedestrian armed robberies and an attempted armed robbery, which occurred March 28 in the borough. The defendants were allegedly using a BB gun in those incidents, police said.

Subsequently, state police charged Tonnesen for his alleged part in three commercial armed robberies and West Whiteland police charged him for his alleged involvement in a commercial robbery.

Last week, police also arrested Tonya M. Russell, 27, of Paoli. Police allege Tonnesen and Lambert used Russell's vehicle to get to the robbery locations in West Chester and that she was a passenger in the car when the men planned the crimes.
