My plants are still doing well, and the big pot finally started growing (and catching up to the others!)

OOOOOoooh I love those pots!!

We'll be starting a veg. garden soon. I have so much work to do in the backyard, I just never get around to it! arg!

I cut our roses , and i'm always afraid I'm doing it wrong, but they always seem to grow.
I need to add something to help them grow more though, I want MORE roses!

Awesome thread! So ALL my herbs are growing now. Even the poor little Parsley! I am soooo proud. I wonder if I will feel bad when I am eating them later?

Oh and my back yard is just dirt. I am thinking of growing moss out there this year. Anyone have any experience with this? It gets little to no sun in the summer, so grass is out.

We're starting a "no-dig" garden. With veggies to make salsa , and some other goodies.
Here's the start of this experiment.

With this no dig garden supposedly we don't have to water as much cos it stays moist , for a long time.

as you can see only the back of this garden is gonna get a ton of sun, so that's where the tomato plants will go.
I have no idea what I'm doing, my father in law, is helping.

getting ready outside/we diverted the hose from the spring that usually pumps water in the pheasant house pond to flow over the rocks and into the garden.

9, how far are you from other folks? I love your area. I'd love to live somewhere remote.

Here is a sat pic. The two white buildings aren't there anymore. The second pic is our property (100 acres) and there are two more ponds added on the top of the hill which would be on the right side. I can't zoom in any further, I guess they figured why bother.

I forgot to circle it but the top of the little pond is the house. Yeah, there could be a bunch of people living here and we would never see each other unless we wanted to. In the summer when there is foliage you can't see a damn thing unless you walk upon it. I love it but it is intimidating being out here by myself when everyone is at school and at work. That is why I bought this for myself two days ago. Yikes
