Ugh I have so much I have to fix up/redo before we sell. Its keeping me up at night. Its like I dont know where to start and Im not handy so Im relying on my husband to do it, and he is known to not do shit. sigh.

In today's market I would probably put it on the market as-is and get it sold before there's any hiccups in the housing market, but that's just me.

That makes sense. I have to wait until my mom finds somewhere to move first. Also she has to get her hoarde out before we move in.

Yeah, in this housing market you could sell as is and have 20 people willing to pay over the listing price. Save yourself some grief.

I was worried about moving and that same month she assured me she was going to build a house and not to worry it wouldnt be for a year. Then in late August she said surprise!!!

So I thought I had more time.

The shitty thing is we fixed up the house, painted, redid the deck, etc, and we dont get to enjoy it. My mom's old house is big, but outdated. Also we dont have enough stuff to fill it up the first floor.

KT has a huge mirror that she wanted to take down several pages ago and was asking us for advice. She's off doing her thing in Europe now, although I did see her pop on for a moment a couple of months ago.

But looking back I see that she paid someone $280 to take her mirror down. I didn't remember that part, so I was going to give advice. When I finish refinishing the wall and painting it afterwards, and then get my pretty new mirrors up, I will post pics.

Yep, but it least it will feel good getting back into your kitchen. Once you get it decorated with all your stuff out, I want to see what the space looks like...especially with the backsplash. I am usually not a fan of blue/grayish things, but I love the contrast of the colors to the dark cabinets.

I'm so happy to be rid of that nightmare tile counter/backsplash. And that sink....it had a lip and was raised up, it was a pain trying to wipe crumbs from the counter into the sink. I can now do that as my sink is under the counter!

I'm also glad I bought a new range hood for above the oven, as the black looks much better with the new stuff.
