I bought a new seat cover for the motorcycle Joe is fixing up for me :)

It's a 1970 Honda CB 350.  I'm psyched.

I also signed up for motorcycle training.  I'm going to get my motorcycle license in a few weeks!  This is so gonna be my new fun thing.

Lastly, I bought myself a cup of coffee at Starbucks, and I bought my departmental secretaries apple fritters.  They are so freakin' cute.  You should have seen how happy the two of them were.  You'd have thought I brought them diamonds.  I guess it's just good to be appreciated sometimes.

It's nice to see you Peavey. I used to have a Honda CB 350. I've had a motorcycle license since I've had a driver's license I think, or pretty close. They were easy to get then and I'm not giving it up.  :lol:

I think that motor cycle licenses are easy to get now, too -- if you aren't a complete moron about how to drive a bike.  Joe got his, no muss, no fuss.  Although I've always driven a stick, I never tried to ride a bike.

No, I don't. I might again one day though. Do you have to ride through cones and stuff to get yours? I guess I didn't mean it's 'hard' to get now, but when I got mine I got on the bike in front of the court house, the cop told me to ride around the block and I guess they figure if you come back alive you're good. Nobody watched me do anything.  :lol:

No, even he had to do cones.  And cornering.  I literally had to start from the beginning -- here is the clutch, this is how you find neutral, here is the choke.  I stalled about 10 times in 20 minutes.  I'm thinking to myself, I can pass a doctoral area exam, but I can't get the hang of a motorcycle?  It's kinda humbling.  :lol:

omg.  it was incredible.  the steak was cooked medium, it was soooo good.  i'm not overly fond of sushi, i dont like raw fish, but the shrimp rolls arent raw, its cooked.  and i really like avocado rolls.  nom nom nom.
