Bachelder's Popular Resorts & How to Reach Them: Combining a Brief Description of the Principal Summer Retreats in the United States, and the Route of Travel Leading to Them, by John Bachelder; Illustrated, published in Boston, 1874, 186 pages.

Of course in 1874, the "principal summer retreats" for a man from Boston were in New England, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania - apparently the world stopped there. And with no automobiles in sight for another 25+ years, trains and wagons play a prominent role.

Bought it last week, hung it today, "The Good Life" by Ken Bailey, canvas. It's been on my Want List for almost a year, but it was over $200+ shipping and I'm frugal. Good things come to those who wait. Found it on FB Marketplace for $49, like new condition, 12 miles from my home.

I bought this a couple of days ago, but... I can't wait to receive them in the mail!
This Etsy seller has different scent bundles. The one I bought is one you can customize.
    I ordered these scents:
Spiced Apple, Sugar Cookie, Spiced Pumpkin, Lavender Lemon, Lemon, Orange, Rustic Woods, Pumpkin & Brown Sugar, Rose, Peppermint, Fireside, Vanilla & Honey.

Sorry about the super huge picture.

I forgot to mention, it's soap. I'm excited over soap. Lol!
The current one I'm using now I got from a hotel and it smells like curdled milk. So gross.

Jealous! I want a robot vacuum, but I have a dog that wants to get the neighbor's robot lawn mower, so I am afraid that he would tear a robot vacuum up. So I just live vicariously on the sidelines while everyone else has robots clean their floors.

I'm super excited because vacuuming and mopping is one of those things that grinds me down, I don't mind most other chores, so since this does both of those things it will help me out a lot!
It just got delivered and I'm grinding down the last 20 minutes of work until I can go set it all up!

I hope it's better than the Roomba! I got one a few years back and used it a bit and gave up. It just didn't get all the spots and would get stuck on stupid and I kept having to move it...it would literally bang itself into a table leg

It's not something I bought, but a gift I got for Christmas that I have really been wanting. A Shark cordless vacuum. It's amazing! I can just zip all around my house without worrying about the cord reaching and having to unplug and plug into a new outlet. Plus it works on hardwood and carpet. I use it almost every day because it's fun and works so well! My dog sheds a lot and it sucks up the hair so easily (brooms suck, they seem to spread it around and not get every bit of hair).

Update: It was delivered yesterday and was the wrong model, so it's on it's way back and now I wait for the right one.

I had an older one a couple years ago and it would get stuck places but this one seems to have some pretty awesome avoidance tech so I'm hoping it's pretty smart.

My husband has been after me for awhile to take care of a few things, so I did. I was a very expensive girl today.

I started off small and my spending power increased throughout the day.

    First I got this ($100 co-pay):

Then I bought new box springs ($245.45):

    And a new headboard ($494.99):

    Then I got a new laptop ($1029.99):

    And then I got a new iPhone 12 Pro w/accessories ($1,399.99):

Hubby is chuffed to bits over the whole thing, but I hate to shop only slightly less than I hate to get a mammogram. I'm exhausted.

You had a heck of a shopping day!

Let me know what you think about the phone...I'm debating going over to the dark side and getting that particular iphone.

It was all stuff I've been putting off. I'm still chugging along on an iPhone7, and I had to duct tape my laptop together last month! And the mammo.... I put that off long enough. The talk in the "lady topics" made me realize I was overdue.

I got the 12 Pro, not the Pro-Max. The Max was too big for my hand and difficult to handle with my tremors. I also got the 512GB because I can't depend on the Cloud so I store a lot of stuff on my phone. They didn't have it in the store, had to order it - it should arrive next week.

    Coooooome to the dark side......
