Yes and they were on the Today show this AM.  I guess the Today show picked up the tab for a honeymoon in NYC.  The pastor at their local church wouldn't marry them so they got amrried in a friend's yard.
I just don't get it.  Why the big rush at this point in time?

I agree. ALL my energy would be on finding my daughter. BUT they plan out a wedding and a honeymoon and then leave? Yea sorry but these people are trash. I realize people deal with things different but still IMO they are trash.

In their interview this AM it is so apparent that they have been coached by their lawyers.  The lingo and the attitudes are totally different than they were a month ago.
I do not have a strong feeling that either of them are directly involved in Haleigh's disappearance unlike I do regarding Casey Anthony. 
Can you even imagine the shit storm if Casey Anthony got married a month after Caylee was reported missing?  Whoa!

The case of missing 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings grinds onward but there is little to go on. Seven weeks after the little girl went missing literally under the nose of her 17-year-old babysitter, now her stepmother, Putnam County (Florida) Sheriff Jeff Hardy said in an interview with WJXT-TV that the focus of the case has been lost to feuding and peripheral details.

"Look at the thousands and thousands of hours we've put in on this case," the Sheriff said, "and no trace."

The Sheriff also admitted to being "intimidated" by the case at first. Although he had 15 years of law enforcement experience under his belt, he was totally unprepared to have a high-profile missing persons coast thrust upon him less than two months into his new job as Putnam County Sheriff.

Sheriff Jeff Hardy is frustrated with the way the case has gone. "My fears of being on national television ... the fact that there's a missing 5-year-old child is more important," he said. "The investigation has had so many different angles to it that it's been extremely difficult to try to narrow and focus it down to where it needs to be. Also, as previously reported, there have been so many inconsistencies in statements and stories."

And there lies the crux of the matter. The inconsistencies. And some of those inconsistencies still circle the new wife of the father of Haleigh Cummings. Misty Croslin (now Cummings) has been and continues to be the central figure in the ongoing investigation.

Misty Croslin tells the story that she was asleep and awoke at about 3:00 a.m. on February 10 to find little Haleigh Cummings missing from her bed, which was in the same room that Misty and Haleigh's 4-year-old brother, Ronald, Jr.. Ronald Cummings came home at roughly 3:25 a.m. from a late work shift and a call was placed to 911 almost immediately.

Then came the rumors that Misty was not even in the trailer in which she lived and where she was supposedly watching the children. Rumors also began to revolve around a mysterious Tennessee cousin, "Joe," who was visiting but left the same day that Haleigh went missing. "Joe" was rumored to be a pedophile.

But the police kept questioning Misty. And they found inconsistencies in her stories. Little details that were altered.

These were followed by televised accusations of drug use, battery and child abuse by the mother, Crystal Sheffield, against Ronald Cummings, the custodial father of the children. Then there were televised allegations and televised refutations. Newly married Ronald Cummings even made a trip New York to appear on "The Today Show" to make a plea that the media return their focus on the fact that he had a missing 5-year-old daughter.

Private investigators have also entered the search for Haleigh Cummings. They too have seemed to gravitate toward Misty Croslin / Cummings. Talk about the "man in black" seen by Ronald Cummings, Jr., the night Haleigh went missing has caused many to look at another acquaintance of Misty Croslin's, an African-American called "Greg." There have been allegations of an affair and that he may have actually been at the trailer the night Haleigh Cummings disappeared. (has anyone else heard anything of this  :? wow.)

Said Sheriff Hardy, "Unfortunately, in the last few weeks, it [the investigation] seems to have lost the focus of what our mission is here."
