I'm sure they would know the difference, but they did say they found a lot of deer and animal bones too. Supposedly that's what Joe liked to throw in there. Keeping the critters in the water so well fed might be his downfall if those do end up being Haleighs bones.

When I travel in the south I have to be really careful not to offend people. I'll stand at a cash register while paying for breakfast and giggle at their cute accents and I'm sure they want to punch me in the face.

I doubt he threw live deer in there. As for the other animals, I don't know. Dead or alive though, there would still be lots of bones.

We have new information in the Haleigh Cummings investigation. The Putnam County Sheriff's Office has issued the following statement to provide clarity to some media reports of a discovery of bones:
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office has received numerous inquiries regarding the recovery of the skeletal remains of missing 5 year-old Haleigh Cummings. A rumor has spread throughout our community that her body has been located. This rumor is false, and this information has been vastly misreported and sensationalized by the media.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office did recover animal remains such as alligator claws and teeth, and a multiple animal bones. The agency had an anthropologist at the scene that identified all "biological" items that were recovered as being non-human. Additionally, Misty Croslin could have easily seen these items while she was at the dock while the dive operation was in progress.
In an effort to prevent this false information from impeding our investigation, Sheriff Hardy wants to quell these rumors so we can maintain our focus on the criminal investigation.
After watching the news reports last night, I didn't think there were any human bones at all. I think the police were being tricky and banking on the girls stupidity to get her to talk. So they showed her these "bones" letting her think they were human and then put her in the back of a cruiser with her cousin to see what she would say. And apparently she was pretty freaked over the situation.

Tonight on Nancy Grace Ronalds Cummings Grandmother Ms. Sykes and Misty Grandmother Ms. Hollars was debating over was Misty Strung out on drugs the night Haleigh went missing, because Ms. Hollars said Ronald Cummings is also to blame in Haleigh's death because he knew Misty was high on drug but left Haleigh there with her.
Ronalds Grandmother said she went by the house the day Haleigh went missing and said Misty didn't appear high while Misty Grandmother Ms. said Misty was strung out on drug that day.
Misty's Grandmother also said Misty made allegation of Haleigh being molested either by Tommy or Joe while she was in the bedroom with Ronalds son.Misty said that she heard screams and the couch squeaking and she just put the covers over her head and when she took covers off her head Haleigh was gone .
Misty's sister in Chelsea Croslin entered in the interview saying she doesn't believe Misty and Tommy told Ms. Hollars anything and Ms. Hollars is just lying.

I think it's HYSTERICAL she got 15 years sentenced!!! It's a bit much, but the mouth on her. She's already appealed and is going to have a rehearing. She didn't understand the implications of pleading no contest. I think 15 is a bit much,, but after the way she talked to her mother, I had to giggle a little bit.
They should all be tortured in jail. Lol. Maybe then they would say something.

IMO, it was a bluff. I think they showed Misty some animal bones (which she knew were animal bones), so that didn't pan out. I don't think anything is going to come of that.
With the sentencing or trial coming up, something could get the hornets nest going soon. If Ron receives a lighter sentence than Misty, Misty is going to be PISSED, and I think she'll blab everything she knows. She's up to here in loyalty to Ron (kinda like Nancy Grace)
