My dog ate my dust ruffle?

So last night I had a friend sleep over and I let her sleep on my bed and I slept on the floor. My dog woke me up numerous times last night and made me let her out. The last time I did so I came back up stairs and tried to go back to sleep, and I heard my dog keep like lapping on something. So I got my cellphone out and used the back light to see what she was doing, ONLY TO FIND OUT SHE ATE 1/4 OF MY DUST RUFFLE? Mind you she is three years old, so it's not that whole "I'm a puppy, I know no better" type deals. It's the "Yea, I'm retarded and ate your dust ruffle" type deal! :|
here's what it looks like now:

When I was young, it seemed that life was so wonderful, a miracle, it was beautiful, magical.

I see it's a day bed...can you turn it around by any chance?

I also see the SpongeBob blanket. :2grin:

I'm sorry, but my husband is using the underneath of your bed to prove that we don't need to step up our cleaning and organizing habits.

The reason this is so funny, is because I've got him convinced that we have to live up to a stringent cleaning standard, and well now he feels like we're too uptight. Perhaps we are. :|

Right, but we have a dust ruffle, and some of those low profile Rubbermaid totes for under the bed. We have a king size bed, and four of those totes. I seriously have a mental problem. Like I'm afraid company will come over and look in a closet or under the bed. Perhaps that should be my 5th resolution.

it's really not as bad as it looks. one part is where the dog sleeps. and all that junk is just old school papers that I just couldn't throw out in fear that I'd need them, and behind that is rubbermaid totes that are packed with things I don't know what to do with, and there's the soccer shorts I've been looking for! :D

YOU SHOULD PROBABLY MEET MY AUNT! rofl
She is neurotic about cleaning. Like if you drop a cracker on the floor and pick it up, she like CLEANS THAT SPOT?
or like on thanksgiving I spilled mountain dew, and she had to swiffer the floor three times and I was stuck in the corner until the floor dried. :| NOT FUN.

My dog is really bad. My kitties don't really do too many bad things.

Then I saw Marley & Me on xmas and I cried and forgot about all the bad things she does. I only forgot for about 8 hours - then I was pissed off again.

BTW I cried at that movie because I am 'hormone' woman again.
Yes I understand. I vacuum and clean the floor like 3 times a day. I got like that after I had my baby. I am seriously insane now.
[/quote]

I'm going to see marley and me tomorrow I think! :D and then anyone who cleans as much as you, my aunt, or peavey....KUDOS TO YOU! I can't stand cleaning. I have to be very ambitious if I'm going to clean. I'm just extremely lazy, I guess.

No, I think you are just a normal teenage girl :-)
However, when my 15 year old (soon to be 16 in 2 weeks) goes on a cleaning binge, it is hell to pay for her sister.

i went on a cleaning binge today. it was ugly. i'm kind of anal too. it's just because we're that awesome! I need to vacuum. there's guinea pig bedding, and dead leaves, and mud, and stuff all over the floor. and grass. there's grass ALLLL over the place. it's going to drive me nuts.
