We have 'invested' in a few race horses and one of the best suggestions we came up with for the name was 'Ya Mum'.  'Look at him riding Ya Mum' etc etc


We almost had a tragedy today.  Baxter the bad baby got out when we were trying to bath him.  He bolted for the main road.    Joe was chasing him, I was yelling at him not to run cause Baxter would think it was a game.  The bloody dog seriously came within 20 metres of the main road.  I was chasing after them both a bit behind with a dog treat to try to get him to come back.  With a soaking wet shirt, my pyjamas pants and no shoes on.

Ugh it's so scary when they get out and run toward a main road. Glad it turned out okay.    The house we rented for a few months was right on a highway and the dogs were forever escaping. It was a nightmare.

LOL. When my daughter was almost 3 she ran out of the house while I was getting dressed. I bolted after her in a slip and a bra.
Because we live on a busy street.
I'm glad Baxter didn't get hurt. Our cat got nicked by a car yesterday but he's fine.

I checked w/the vet, she doesn't have a UTI.
I read that sometimes cats are attracked to the rubber on the back of rugs, if you have that on your rug.
