Re: MDS pets

We bought a litterbox for David's soon-to-be kitten and Serenity got the sticker on her face.

Then she stole my kitten's toy!

    They duked it out.

    Serenity peeping at Casper sleeping.

    Casper snuggling with my mom.

If you click the pic it'll link you to a vid of Ren and Casper play fighting.

I have more but that's enough for the moment. :-)

Two of my dogs, Tiny Girl and Crackers (mom and son) and the cat Lucipurr. Notice neither of the dogs will get near Luci.

And really, Luci's not that bad. She loves the baby. The dogs just know better.

This is not my pet but this little guy sat outside our windows at work all day yesterday until about 3pm when some gross crow came and scared him off. We think he was someones pet that had escaped because he doesn't look native to around here. He just amused himself by trying to eat rocks, sleeping and looking at himself in the reflective window. We wanted to try to help but we are on the 4th floor and could not get to him.

My dog is driving me crazy. This is the Jack Russell stray I adopted. He barks/growls at everyone. He lays on my bed and when anyone walks down the hall he growls and barks. Protecting me is good. Growling and barking at the same people he sees in this house every single day is not good. And my grandson constantly stirs the pot by walking up and down the hall. I want to drown them both.

What I do is have a spray bottle filled with water and when he barks I tell him no and spray him and low and behold he stops.
Now I just show the bottle to him and he doesn't make a sound.

I read that somewhere and thought of trying it but this dog is totally obsessed with the garden hose and loves being sprayed. I had him tied out once and he chewed the garden hose into pieces. :| I think if I had a spray bottle he'd eat it. I might try it, though. Thanks for the suggestion.

[/quote]Well it is worth a try.
Now I can't do it to my lab because like your dog she loves water and tries to eat the bottle out of my hands. But the min pin is a little stupid so it works with him

Any of you cat lovers know what the difference between a Calico and Tortoise cat is..? Having a discussion with my husband and tried to look them up on google, but they seem to be the same?

    Re: MDS pets

The term "tortoiseshell" (also called calimanco or clouded tiger in North America) is typically reserved for cats with brindled coats that have relatively little or no white markings. Those that are largely white with red and black patches (rather than a brindled aspect) are described as tortoiseshell-and-white (in the UK) or calico (in the United States).

trey got bit/stung by something the other night. i had let her out to pee and she was only out there for about 3 minutes. she ended up with a bump on her head, a swollen eye and HUGE lips. i have no idea what it was, but she acted like it didn't bother her at all and all the swelling is gone now.

Wow, kinda scary. Can dogs have anaphylactic reactions like people? I imagine they can.

She barks at everything on TV....people, animals. THEN she goes to look for them running around the house. Does she think my TV is a window?

Latest picture of my pups together (Bizzy = blonde, Bruno = black/tan):

Bruno is now a year old! I can't believe how quickly the time has gone. I barely remember him being a tiny puppy, and it saddens me. :(
