here's our girls:

Atreyu, who is fascinated by the woods at our cabin and is constantly looking out windows.

Fuji, who doesn't have clue what is going on at any given time.

    Aww, Boxers are so cute.

    Re: MDS pets

fuji was given to us by a guy who didn't want to deal with her demodectic mange. we never really knew much about where she came from, as he had acquired her through a sister who "found" her running the pasture at her farm. atreyu was "adopted" from a "breeder" with questionable credentials. we saw the ad and felt sorry for the puppies, so we saved one. fuji is 3 and atreyu just turned 4.

    we don't mind if they're 100% boxer or not, they're awesome. =)

    They are so cute!

My friend has a boxer called Sherman and I swear it's the dumbest dog in the world, but SO cute!

I loved my boxer! Dumb as a box of rocks, but loyal and loving to no end. Could take him off his leash in a dog park and he'd come grab the end of it to let you know he was off of it and sit down until you put it back on.

    Re: MDS pets

This is my handsome puppy, Bruno (Shar Pei/Lab mix, currently 9 months old):

This is one the first pictures I saw of him through Rocket Dog Rescue's website:

He was eight weeks old when we adopted him. :-) And we've also just recently (6/19) adopted another puppy, Bizzy. She is a Lab/Pit mix, and is currently 7 months old:

They both look like they could've been from the same litter, save for the obvious age difference. LOL.

One more pic of Bruno and Bizzy playing together:

(I'll post more pix later on, when I'm back at home. Bruno used to be *super* wrinkly as a pup, and I just love to share those pix with people!)

Awww thanks for posting those, SC! I remember Bruno now from when you posted him before. He's adorable!
    So is Bizzy!

I think rescue dogs are totally loving and grateful to their owners who rescue them.
It's like they're always trying to pay you back for saving them.

Here's one of me and my pooch holding hands.

We really lucked out with our rescue doggies, cuz they're both great... and they really love eachother! We also have a Chihuahua, who I don't have a picture of on this computer, but I'll post up some pix of him later, too. He rules the household. LOL.

Your pup is a cutie pie! Is he/she a terrier mix?

Hahaha that makes sense that the smallest dog rules the roost!

Ruby is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and is a rescue dog herself. She's getting on a bit now, she's around 9.
We're taking her camping with us in a couple of weeks, it should be fun!
