Puke. You've killed the thread.
Let's see if I can get it started. Mom's caregiver has this 6 mo Yorkie pup, Coco. Nice little dog, scared of nothing and no one. She's been bringing her to work with her. Mom enjoys her and my homewrecker Zena loves her. They play so well together. So anyway... The other night, I came home from work, fixed myself a plate, and sat down to enjoy the special election day Jeopardy episode. I'd eaten some veggies, and some potato, and was just getting started good on a nice piece of steak. Yummy. When... out of nowhere, came Coco the flying squirrel. Landed smack in the middle of my plate, and food flew everywhere. The starving canines descended. We managed to rescue the steak, and divided it up among all the dogs to have with their dinner, so everydog got a bite, but no one was stuffed.
Coco, you owe me.
She's pretty lovable. Here are some pics of her and Zena.

She keeps getting UTIs that won't go away, crystals in get urine, some blood and rare bacteria that is antibiotic resistant. The usual symptoms that come with UTIs as well. We've been battling this for months now. She's on a strict UT prescription diet and she's done rounds of urine tests and antibiotics etc.
Today she had the ultrasound, blood work and xrays. The good news us that it's not Cancer. The bad news is that it's an enormous kidney stone. It's 3cm big and her kidney itself is only 4cm. Given that we've had her on this strict diet and it hasn't broken it down at all, it's a specific type that can only be treated by removing it surgically. She needs to see a specialist and the only two in Ireland are in Cork and Dublin. Both are hours away. Estimated cost will be 1-2K. I only make about 27K before taxes. This is an astronomical cost by ROI standards. For instance, her ultrasound, xrays, blood work, sedation, nails clipped (might as well if she's sedated), Cytopoint and two prescriptions only ran me €280. So this is a serious deal and huge operation she's going to have to undergo. I'm going to get more details in the morning from her vet. I don't know what we're going to do, but we have to make this work. I feel horrible because she must be in so much pain and we didn't know it. She hides it well.
I'm grateful that it's not Cancer. We just need to win the lottery now.
Thank you for sending the good energy. It worked. It's something treatable
