I have a computer.  Last night I doubled my RAM and finally installed a sound card.  Woot.    I noticed a difference.

OK you guys would be the ones to ask.  We got a request to carry some pc games here at the library.  I am concerned about drm issues.  Are there enough good games out there that we can find a batch that could be checked out and loaded multiple time on multiple different PCs?  I don't care if you can't play it without the disk in. (Do they even still do that?)  Just want peeps to be able to take something out for a week or two than return it for the next person.

Looks like we have the same monitor and keyboard. How about some more details on your video card? Looks like a woop as rig.

So far I've pretty much stuck with battlefield. Most games require that you enter a CD key and most require that you use the CD. One that comes to mind that doesn't for multiplayer, after install with a valid key, is the Call Of Duty series. Id be worried about people writing down the codes...IDK I'm not the best person. I'd probably take a look at how the game rentals work at places like Blockbuster and go from there.

I went with it pretty much on price alone. I am now just really starting to get into the whole computer thing.  I have made a case swap in the past few days. I am now housed in a NZXT Beta. The price was pretty much the selling point at $50. It came with just one front 120mm intake fan, but I added 1 rear 120mm exhaust fan, and 2 120mm side intake fans.  I plan on doing some upgrading of the internals, so I wanted to make sure I had enough cooling. I think I do, simply cause the side intake fans are 2800 rpms, and now it sounds like it wants to take off.

Yeah my CPU fan sounds like vacuum cleaner, it's freaking huge, sits on the chip with radiator pipes. It actually has a control  knob that installs on the front of the case (in the floppy drive spot)  so you can turn it up. I'll go home and see what kind it is, it was like $45 bucks.

Yeah, I have actually been looking into a new cpu cooler. I haven't decided on anything yet, but I have really been leaning towards this:
